The media could not be loaded. This watch is beautiful. The gold accents against the green background is gorgeous. The strap is of high-quality. The hands are big and easy to see. The non-functional bezel is a very nice accent, even though it doesn’t rotate. It’s very easy to set and very accurate this watch. I love the fact that you get the Quartz accuracy without having to replace a battery. I like how you can hear the rotor moving when you move your arm or shake the watch (it’s very subtle) it’s kind of like a tactile feedback to let you know the watch is winding. There is a very nice feature to check the charge on the watch, you press the button at the 2 o’clock and the secondhand rotates into position to show you how much charge is left on the watch. If the secondhand does a half of revolution, you have a full charge which lasts six months. This watch is a great value! ... show more

This is a very nice watch. The kinetic movement is loud-ish but it’s not like a heavy metal concert. 🤷🏻♂️ I did change the strap like so many others I’ve read reviews on have done. The quality of it kinda brought down the quality of the watch. I had a green leather one in reserve and out it in for fin and it stayed. The face of the watch really popped with the side of the straps green. Definitely a personal preference but that’s all part of the fun of owning a nice watch and making it your own. Great purchase. I wanted to treat myself to a new watch for a trip but did not want to break the bank. When this one appeared in my search it caught the attention of both my wife and I. I normally wear steel bracelets so the leather was a change for me. It wears great! I have small wrists with large hands and it fits me well. The green sunburst dial with the brass accents looks great against the brown leather band. It is easy to read in the daytime and the dark lumen is adequate. You get the accuracy of a quartz movement with this piece and the convenience of a rechargeable battery powered by you simply wearing the watch once in a while. The clear back is a nice touch that adds a bit more class making it feel like it is more expensive. I can't speak to how scratch resistant the face is... yet. ... show more

    • A quality watch you can wear everyday

This Watch is a very attractive piece, and a Quartz watch that does not require a battery replacement every year or so. I can always tell the quality of a watch by operating the crown as you set the date or time. Cheap watches are a clumsy feeling link between the hands of the watch and your finger tips making it hard to set it precisely, and the crown is supposed to move in and out with precision. This is not a cheap watch. When i got the watch a month ago i set it, since then i have had no need to set it again because it is accuracy is within one second per week. The finish of the case and dial are of the quality Seikos are known for. This is the first non railroad approved watch I've owned in 50 years. Seiko has been making Railroad approved watches since 1977. It's not a Rolex but I wasn't looking for something i would feel stupid to wear everyday. Just a quality time piece that has beauty and accuracy that you can wear in the water swimming, and don't cost you a thousand bucks. Now, what I disliked. The band.. I plan on replacing the leather band with a good watch bracelet. I think that a stainless and gold bracelet would enhance both the comfort and looks of the watch. ... show more

This Seiko Kentic in brilliant emerald green is beautiful. I appreciate a timepiece that does not require battery replacement. This is a automatic watch it's winds up with your bodies natural movements while wearing it. Never needs a battery. I prefer watches made in Japan. I own other Japanese watch makers like Citizen and Invicta which are very nice timepieces..but there seems to be something about this Seiko that is superior than the others. I highly recommend this watch as I believe that Seiko is moving away from the Kentic line so get one while the seller still has then available. Shipping was fast. ... show more
