This is a lot of watch for the money. I own all 3 in the series. They are all stunning watches. It's a big watch, but Seiko's soft lines and curves make them wear quite well even on smaller wrists. The dial is the big seller. The process used to get that effect uses 3 layers I think. It's gorgeous. The ceramic bezel is a deep and glossy black and with a saffire crystal you really are getting a very solid, beautiful watch. ... show more

I bought this watch and it showed up super quick! Bracelet is why I’m giving 4 stars, it’s pin and collar which can be challenging to resize. The watch itself and the extra black rubber band are outstanding and look great on my wrist. The lume is also amazing! I highly recommend this watch!

Detailed reviews of the latest Seiko Prospex King Turtles and this SRPH57 can be found on Hodinkee, ablogtowatch & Youtube. I bought this as a fun everyday & activity wear alternative to my pair of precious & now very valuable Rolex sports watches which I no longer wear at the gym/beach/cycling/shopping/cleaning my apartment etc for fear of scratches. My main observations are that the turquoise dial is both a rarity in the watch world and is spectacularly vibrant - it will definitely turn heads as you can see the colour from easily 20+ feet away. Watch case and metal strap (it’s also supplied with a dark green silicone strap) appear very well put together and in my case the bezel aligns perfectly with the dial. Scratch proof ceramic bezel and sapphire glass. All in all very stylish, unusual, rugged and great value! Shipping was fast and watch is the best and most beautiful one I have had in the many I have purchased. The turquoise pops off the dial in beauty and far outdoes the several Rolex I have owned. I have set it to my phone and in the 4 days I have worn it there has only been one second difference. Seiko outdid all their previous watches on this one! This watch has some fantastic qualities for the money. I love the heft of the steel cushion case and bracelet. The turtle shell dial is unique and changes as you move the watch under the light. The bezel action is more "mellow" (less rachety) compared to my other divers and feels pretty refined. I would say there is a little more resistance in the bezel action than I'd prefer though. The 12 o-clock bezel alignment for mine is spot-on. I like the day-date complication. In the picture I'm comparing the King Turtle to my recently acquired Hamilton Khaki Navy Scuba... the Seiko holds it own fine at nearly half the price. I'm enjoying both! ... show more
