  • Does everything as advertised, good for price.
Pattern Name: Kick Scooter Style: F30
This is a great electric scooter from Ninebot. It has a very useful app and the scooter is super easy to install. The scooter comes folded in the box, and all you have to do is unfold and insert 4 screws to connect the handle to the body. The app is handy and shows important information. The regenerative braking on this scooter on max is very useful; I rarely have to hit the brake, unless I need to stop very quickly. The scooter connects to the phone via Bluetooth and all of the information, such as battery voltage, current, temperature, and other controls such as the power of regenerative braking and lights can be controlled and viewed through the app. The app is very easy to use and is fast to change the scooter's settings. There is a feature that can track rides, and it tracks your location without using Wi-Fi or cellular data and can track how far you went and where you went at what speed. The scooter also comes with a spare tire. Because these scooters have pneumatic tires, they can pop, so this spare tire is nice to have. The scooter has 3 modes. Eco, D, and S. Eco's max speed is 9 MPH and D and S' max speed is 15 mph. In S, or Sport, the torque is increased. The scooter takes a few hours to charge up to 100%, and it can last around 16 miles per charge based on my experience. The scooter definitely feels well-built and sturdy, and it is easy to fold and unfold. The handles have a good grip, but I find the throttle and levers to feel plasticky. At 30 pounds, it is kind of lightweight compared to other scooters, but still pretty hard to carry around. This is overall a great electric scooter and is a good option to consider for other electric scooters at this price. ... show more

  • It’s so fun to just ride around town in this
Pattern Name: Kick Scooter Style: F30
I didn’t expect to love this so much, but I’m zooming around quite a bit. The battery life is way exaggerated though. On s mode i got maybe three miles.

  • Ok performance. Reliable. Not for hilly roads
Pattern Name: Kick Scooter Style: F30
At it's price range, this scooter performs just OK. It is not overly powerful. I weigh 170 lbs and do have to walk or push on somewhat steep hills that I thought it should climb, even if at slow speed. Deducting 1 star for that. On flatter grounds, it performs very well. So do not buy it of your use will include hilly routes ... show more

  • Fun to ride!!!
Pattern Name: Kick Scooter Style: F30
Item was listed "like new" from vendor but, was far from being like new, item came in generic packaging, did not include original items (i.e. Extra tire, tire inflator extender, original documentation. The item had some pretty good scuffs n 2 very long scratches on the floorboard bar that had to rubbed pretty good to hide. Thankfully everything functions as it should, charges good and quick, mileage is on par, and synced up to app normally. But just be aware on the used ones listed they may be a little more used then listed, but the price was right and i feel it was a very good buy at the price point i purchased it for, since this is MSRP @ $600+ anything south of $400 is a great deal!! ... show more

  • So Dissappointed
Pattern Name: Kick Scooter Style: F30
I really want to love this and almost do expect for 3 issues. 1. First and foremost is the battery life. After being stranded on my first ride further than the local coffee shop I setup an idealized test. I weigh 160lbs, It was a dry 68 degree day, I rode almost entirely on perfectly flat streets (along the river) with almost no stopping or slowing on cruise control 98% of the time. On Standard Mode, no Sport mode, with regenerative braking at 100% and no headlight on. The range is stated at 18.6 "Typical" on the F30. I got 12.1 and that was running it until it completely died. For a while I was down to where it would only go 5mph so I eeked every mile out of it I could. In more typical conditions with no big hills or anything, typical stops and starts, etc I got I think less than 9. That I didn't record per se I just know about how far I went. That's why I setup the test. So in the end with less than a 9 mile range I can't take it anywhere outside of my neighborhood or so which it super disappointing. I just researched and found a NYT article that says "if you’re not as concerned about range, the F30 still got a respectable 10 miles per charge in our tests without slowing down." I wish I had read this before I bought. 2. I just spent an hour and a half with their chat tech support. It was incredibly insulting and useless. So if you think you are under warranty get this, the cost to ship it back to them, which looks to be $150, is on you even if it broken from the get go. I now understand that it's likely not broken, just never had a chance of getting the mileage they claim, but I would have paid the money to ship it back and been even more unhappy when I got it back and had the same results had I not researched it myself. Their tech support is really worthless. Has no idea what a realistic range is or if it's even broken/out of spec. This was my second call and both times I felt really insulted. Just continually just hits a button that puts a prefabbed message on the screen (it was not a bot) and keeps repeating himself. Offers no troubleshooting or actual support. Horrid. 3. I have this super weird problem where my app looks different than all the others online or even that tech support has ever seen. I deleted and redownloaded from the app store. The lock is different on mine and doesn't work right. They have no solution. That was a key feature for me to have an electronic lock for when I just want to duck into a coffee shop for an in and out and don't want to carry a U Lock and deal with all that. I have it Apple Airtagged so between those two I feel comfortable with a short daytime stop with it in view. But it disenages in way under the 3 hours listed on the spec and now I don't trust it to stay locked so I can't use that feature at all. So It looses 2 stars for range, one star for customer service and one for the lack of a lock/unsolvable app issue. So sadly 1 star. ... show more

  • Please read this before buying
Pattern Name: Kick Scooter Style: F30
After using the F30 for three weeks almost every day in boston to commute to work the battery life is about 6 miles max. I use it in”D” mode going to work and “S” mode coming home. The eco mode is painfully slow at 10 mph. I have a very slight grade on a small section on the trip and the scooter, on its own, can only go 13 mph. But when I help by pushing with one foot it gets back up to 15 mph. The max speed. For me I don’t need to go faster. The build is fine. But the rear disk rotor did warp at some point, and I never dropped it, so that is very fragile. The light is fine. I got the F 30 because of the weight to battery life ratio. I have a 2 mile commute so with a stated 18 miles I thought I would have no problems. Not true. I left for work the other day with 80% battery and almost ran out of battery life coming home. I had to assist the scooter with one foot to keep the speed up and the battery indicator was blinking red on the last bar. So if you have a longer comment than 2 mile and want to make side trips before recharging don’t get this. ... show more
