Description

The cutting-edge Segway Electric GoKart Kit is a drifting machine that can accelerate from 0 to 12 mph in two seconds. The GoKart Kit was designed with an adjustable frame and steering wheel to fit riders between 4' 5" to 6' 3" and a max load of 220 pounds. With a steering ratio of 2.1:1, the GoKart Kit allows for precision steering and the ability to round very tight turns. Battery life varies across different driving modes with a maximum range of 13.7 miles. Connect your GoKart to the app via Bluetooth to display driving speed, cruising range, and reminders in real-time. This product requires the Segway miniPRO or Ninebot S, each sold separately.

This review will be updated during the next six months as more time is spent with the Kart. The first part of this review will focus solely on assembly and the first test drive. I purchased this for my four year old son for Christmas. It's not his first motorized vehicle. Before purchase I read reviews that stated the Kart was hard to assemble. That's absolutely incorrect. Two years ago I purchased a kids Jeep that took nearly two hours to assemble. This Kart is almost fully assembled in the box. There are TWO parts that need to be attached to the Kart: The Ninebot S and the power cord that connects the Kart to the Ninebot S. That's it. It's incredibly simple. The adjustment of the seat (for height) and the adjustment of the steering wheel were straightforward. If you purchased this exact kit that I'm reviewing the Ninebot S comes completely ready to attach to the Kart. I don't understand what problems customers could face with assembly. The instructions are adequate, but not great. But, this is why YouTube exists. Be sure to register and setup using the app before attempting to drive. That process was a little longer than I anticipated because the firmware update stopped several times and restarted. This may have been my fault due to going into other apps during the update. Also, the new rider tutorial in the app is somewhat tedious. The Kart had 30% battery upon setup. I took it for a half mile drive because I wanted to know exactly how the machine operates before handing it over to my boy. I'm over the stated weight limit of 220 lbs, but the Kart moved surprisingly quick. I can only imagine how it will handle with a 35 pound kid. ... show more

If you want a Go Kart, this is the way. I love how it’s not loud. It is fast and quiet. Drive it during the morning or night without waking anyone up. It is easy to assemble, and it is safe as long as you practice safe driving.

I wanted to find something fun for my kids, but I always felt left out watching them ride. The cool toys that I was too big for. Disco cart is fun carries me (200lbs) with no problems. I use it like a golf cart in the neighborhood sometimes since we live on very steep hills. My kids did burn out the seatbelt, but it was super easy to replace if money grow on trees, I’d buy another one so we could have Mario kart races up and down the street. I got two these for a Christmas present for my son and his family. The were easy to assemble and the app made things safe and fun. The adults, a teenager, 4 year old and 6 year old all enjoyed with a setting for each.
