Great customer service
Style: C2 / 9.9 mph
We bought this for my son as a Christmas present. Unfortunately the scooter was not able to hold a charge. I reached out to Amazon customer service about the issue and they recommended that I reach out to the manufacturer. I contacted Segway directly and they had great customer service. They provided a shipping label for us to send the scooter back to repair it. They repaired the scooter and sent it back to us and now my son is able to use the scooter with no issue.

Stopped working after 3 rides Stopped working after 3 rides
Style: C2 / 9.9 mph
Stopped charging after 3 uses. We purchased this for my daughter as a Christmas gift. Since winter time isn’t the time to use it due to weather conditions in our region. She didn’t use it until the end of February. She went to ride it to travel to the bus stop in the morning and I noticed the charge was low. No big deal, so I plugged it in and went to work. Upon returning I found the indicator for charging was still yellow which was odd as it had been plugged in for 8 hours or so. I checked the connections and electrical outlet, everything was working on that end. So I tried again. Unplugging it, waited, plugging it back in to charge. This time when I came back to check, the charging indicator was pink/red. So it had lost charge while being charged. Ok fine I’ll contact Segway support. I contacted them and haven’t heard back yet. However it looks like they want you to ship the unit to them for repairs. What a massive inconvenience seeing as my daughter has used it 3 times and has only successfully charged the unit once. Which was the initial charge per the manufacturers setup guide. We purchased the Segway because it’s a good, reputable brand. This is certainly not up to their standards or reputation. I’m hoping this can be solved with a new unit or a refund. I’ll post the results here once I know more.

High Quality, but small battery life
Style: C2 / 9.9 mph
This is well made, my daughter is 9 and normal weight and this does great at all on the smallest of inclines. The battery life is extreamly small. But, this thing is well made and feels great when you are on it. I plan on upgrading to a more popwerful one. If your kid is 9 or 10 and you are thinking about this or something a little more powerful, I would go with a little more powerful. Especially if they've already been riding a regular scooter. There is no learning curve, they should be able to adapt easily.
