I waited almost two months to write a review for this saw. In the meantime, I used it to remove the root systems of two huge asparagus ferns, cut out roots from a defunct large tree, and do a bunch of other heavy tasks. Went thru several sets of blades, but the tool is fantastic. It's very light (I'm a small person), very powerful, and very convenient. Big men can have their super-heavy tools, but this one works great for the rest of us. With two batteries, i run out of energy before the saw does. ... show more

It comes with two batteries and a charger. The batteries last much longer than other saws I’ve had. Charge one while using the other. Sometimes the saw will stop and I remove the battery and put it back and it works. Don’t know why it stops but it’s a great saw so I don’t mind.

Good tool for lightweight use like pruning... Due to the relatively short stroke, you'll need to use blades with a higher tooth count for efficient cutting. It also has a slightly out of balance feeling vibration. It sounds more like an electric knife that's in the kitchen and used twice a year during the holidays, than the sound of a recip saw... If you need a pruning saw or an oversize electric knife, this will work. If you are trying to frame in doors and windows in new construction, this is probably not what you're looking for. ... show more
