    • Easy to set up but does require strong wifi signal
This little camera packs some big features, including motion tracking, remote app with configurable alert settings and optional cloud storage, and day/night capability. The inclusion of a micro SD card slot is very nice, as it ensures the camera can store recordings locally even if the internet goes out or I don't opt for their cloud storage, and I can still access the recordings in the app. I liked how easy it was to set up - after downloading the app, I only needed to plug in the camera and show it the QR code displayed on the app. Then I enter my wifi details and that's about it. It almost seemed alive as it turned to look at the QR code! If it gets too dark, the camera automatically switches to night mode, using its infrared lights to see. The picture quality is very good and detailed in both modes. There is room for improvement when it comes to the WiFi reception and the motion tracking. I found that if the camera is too far from my router, it sometimes disconnects and it takes time to reconnect. This, when the wifi signal is still plenty strong enough for my phone. in other words, the camera needs a fairly strong wifi signal, stronger than some others, to operate reliably. So keep this in mind, if you need to locate the camera a large enough distance from your router you may need a signal booster. The motion tracking is not as good as I'd like. It is great at detecting motion, and it will follow you for a while, but then it often gets lost and can't find you again. Due to the camera's great features, well-designed app, and easy setup, I would give it 5 stars over all. I had to take off a half star just because the motion tracking could be better, and another half star for the low power wifi. Over all, I would readily recommend this product if you have a good wifi signal. It's a very easy way to monitor your property when you're away, and being able to remotely move the camera in every direction really increases your viewing coverage with just one camera. ... show more

For the price, a great little camera with good resolution. It was easy to link to and setup. It's small and unobtrusive. I'm just running mine on the built-in USB rechargeable battery ... a single charge lasts for a month or two and I have a USB cord dangling from it, to enable charging ... without having to climb a ladder!
