I wasn't quite paying attention when ordering and didn't realize just how big this is. Note, this baby is 10 feet long! A monster of a sofa. We named it "the Whale." With the center pull out extended, it's like a 10' long twin bed. Perfect for a friend to couch surf, but not so perfect that they'll want to stay (the sofa cushions are firm). The color is nice, the surface is like a rough patterned velvet that would make George Constanza very proud. The chaise lifts up like the staircase on the Munsters to store winter blankets or pillows. It was delivered by freight and came in 5 massive boxes. Each box fit through my doorway. The 5 sections require some assembly. Feet or casters, backs, then arranging pillows. The whole thing took me 30 minutes. Pro tip, get a long Philips tip on a power screwdriver to make short work of attaching the feet and casters. There will be a huge amount of cardboard boxes so unless you want to make a fort, try to see if you can get white glove service where they haul it away (it wasn't offered in my area). Comfort wise, there are certain parts like the chaise or the other side of the sofa that are super comfortable. It's so large, you can sit in a different part of the sofa each day of the week. Other parts have very firm cushions. Also the back cushions are not the same height (taller in the center). I have it against a wall and a kitchen peninsula. Unless you're having Lovey and Thurston over, I wouldn't worry about it. The combined surface area makes a perfect snuggle pod for winter days. I don't think I've been happier with an Amazon purchase in 25 years for something purchased so big and sight-unseen. Tastes vary, but for the price and the usefulness of this, if you were sitting on the floor looking for a new sofa, read all the reviews carefully and give it a shot. I would highly recommend this to a friend and I'd easily buy another one if I had the space. Pro tip, notice this one has the chaise on the left side. I couldn't find one with the chaise on the right side but it doesn't flip around so be mindful of that. Good luck. ... show more

Buy the couch. Easy set up. Firm but not intensely firm. Back cushions aren't attached to the back boards (plus for me). Not a huge fan of the pillow designs, but it wasn't a deal breaker. This couch is gigantic. You can fit 6 people Comfortably. Make sure you know which side is which before purchasing. Best Amazon purchase I've made. Have had the couch for a few months and it's great. I invite people over to sit on the couch. I'm literally proud of the couch. Buy the couch. ****EDIT**** 2 YEARS POST BUY Alright, so the couch has held up. No broken pieces, still great design. Will say this couch has zero lumbar support. Couch is meant for company, not comfort. I am in agonizing pain after sitting on this couch for a movie. However, couch still looks great. The couch is beautiful and customer service went above and beyond when I had a problem with stitching coming undone. It must have been a fluke thing because it was only a small area. The rest of the couch has held up very well. One thing I would like to mention is that this couch is very firm. If you want something you will sink into, this isn’t the couch for you. I like that it doesn’t have separations between the seat cushions, which is why it is so firm, as I have small children and they love little toys, coins, pretty much anything that finds its way in between seat cushions. I have had this couch for a while now and can write a more knowledgeable review. I absolutely love this couch. It has soft material and was firm at first but broke in pretty quickly. It didn’t give too much, it was just right. Even the pull out was good to sleep on. It was a little difficult trying to put together by myself, make sure to have a 2nd person. My only down fall is if you have pets that like to play or scratch on the couch, this may not be the best one for you. We have taken in 2 larger dogs that play on the couch and scratch at it. It has ripped at the seams. This is no fault of the seller, I just wish it could have held up to the abuse. ... show more

I love this couch. It’s massive and super comfy. Here’s my problem with this transaction: the delivery. It was dropped off by Amazon not by my front door. Not by a pick up spot. It was dropped off by the stairs that lead up to other floors on my apartment complex. I live on the second floor and I was waiting anxiously for this item. Someone pushed the box under the stairs and I had no idea it was there. I am appalled. It was marked as delivered yesterday (the 31st of July) - but it apparently was there for a few days. I live this sectional and would purchase it again if I needed to. The pull up bed make it a huge area we can all relax on for a movie night. Its firm is perfect. The color is the perfect shade of brown. It has good height to it unlike other couches that are tiny this one is not. It’s very sturdy and the instructions are easy to follow.
