I'm usually a person who researches until he is 100% sure of the product he is buying. I do not buy large value items from online stores, especially something that will be used by multiple people and be a centerpiece in my home. I just don't do it. I took a HUGE chance on this couch mainly from the very eloquent reviews that were left. I wanted to take a moment to journal my experience with this couch. I ordered the couch with hesitation, mainly the worry and concerns I spoke of before. This was a lot of money, and it was something that was going to cost me money to return if I didn't like it. I had previously gone out to Ashley's and Mor Furnitrure to look at the available options and the information that I got back was that these brick and mortar stores and up charging by a LOT. It's Mor Furniture for Mor. A couch like this would have been roughly $2,000-$2,500 at Mor, plus tax. I showed my daughter who was helping me find a good fit for my living room and this was the only one that she was 100% sure I should buy. What made me buy it was the seller reviews for HomyHomey. I find that Amazon reviews sometimes reflect a completely different product so I've come to distrust product reviews. But, vendor or company reviews give you a very full picture of who you're buying from. I don't think I've ever seen a vendor have that high of a rating. Their customer service rating was also very high. One guy got a different colored ottoman and HH just sent him another for free so he has 3 now. That's customer service and that is the reason why I decided to take the risk. I'm very glad I did. For the 8 piece version, the couch is shipped in 4 boxes. Do not rely on Amazon's tracking. After the order you will receive an email from HomyHomey with your 4 FedEx tracking numbers. The boxes do not arrive on the same day. My daughter and I were able to get half of it set up one day, and the rest the next. Besides waiting 48 hours for the cushions to fill out, it was a super quick build. And I HIGHLY suggest waiting the full 48 hours. I noticed a huge difference between 24 hours and 48 hours in regards to cushion size and firmness. The couch fits perfectly in my apartment loft living room. I had my doubts after it was built because it is not velvet as is described in the product title. The fabric used is more rough, but it's still softer than most couches. In fact, I had my doubts about this couch until I fell asleep on it for about an hour by accident. I couldn't believe that I fell asleep like that. I haven't slept like that in a long time and that told me everything I needed to know. The couch is great. I have 2 growing teen boys and with my daughter and I we all fit perfectly on it with room to spare depending on how you're sitting. Additionally the two ottomans are a bonus. They are great. This couch is so great, one of my teen boys came upstairs last night and asked if he could lay down on it because he was having trouble sleeping. He slept the entire night and told me that it was the best sleep he's had in a very long time. It's also fantastic to just sit on as well. Buy this couch. It is 100% worth the money. ... show more

    • Exceptional Customer Service and Comfy Couch!
Color: Black Size: U shape 9 Seat
Review Image by C&B Elmore
As a kid, I always thought if you had a velvet couch you were rich- well the couch I ordered AND the people in customer service made me feel that way today! I ordered a 9-Seat Black Modular Sectional and it is very comfy! I have issues with certain textures, and the texture of the cusions is phenomenal and of high quality. The assembly was also surprisingly easy! I must also add, there was an issue where the incorrect color ottomans came? However! When I contacted them for a replacement, they sent one! Free of charge and without needing me to send the wrong ones back to them! I'm so incredibly thankful for the service and the couch, and I would recommend this company 100%! ... show more

    • Great Sofa
Color: Grey Size: U shape 8 Seat
The seat on this sofa is deep and wide enough that even when I sit on the edge of the cushion and bend my knees, my feet can still touch the floor comfortably, and I can still lean back against the backrest at the same time. The biggest surprise is how tall the backrest is—I think that’s such a great design feature. I have another sofa that’s also around 120 inches, but it only has 3 seats. This one, though, is 120 inches with 4 seats. We have a big family, so this means everyone can find a comfortable spot on the couch, and we all love it. My husband says he never has to sit between two seats again. ... show more
