I really like this carrier. It's lightweight and my cat didn't seem to hate it as much as he did the old, hard sided one. However, he was able to push his paw into the corner and start unzipping it when it was fully closed. If you can't be right there with your pet the entire time it is in the carrier, I would recommend a few large safety pins or a quick single whip stitch to make sure it can't escape. ... show more

Would recommend this carrier if you have a large cat. Plenty of room for my cat that was wearing a cone. Item was as described. I looked at a lot of carriers and read many reviews and finally decided on this one. I am happy with my purchase.

I love how it has both handles and a strap and folds up very nicely, it also unzips on many sides and kitty has a lot of room in there. he is 14.8 lbs and it is the right size for him to be cozy with a blanket inside at the vet
