Bear in mind that rugs are entirely a matter of personal preference. I recommend this rug, but consider the caveats below. It is definitely very soft, and a joy to bare feet! Colors seem true to the Amazon photos. It might be perfect in a child's bedroom. But never in my living room or dining room. That's just my subjective aesthetic, and personal preference for woven wool or silk. All that said, this rug is practical: β’ It's machine-washable (stick with the Delicate setting). β’ The non-slip backing is very effective (it will NOT move when walked across). β’ It is truly non-shedding (as proven by my industrial-suction Dyson). β’ The 1/4" pile is luxuriously plush. On the con side (other than my personal and subjective aesthetics), just one: it's actually NOT easy to vacuum, at least not with the Dyson. Despite its otherwise very effective non-slip rubber backing, the rug bunches up, requiring me to constantly lift and reposition the vacuum. The Amazon description mentions sweeping it; maybe that's a better approach.

Beautiful runner rug. This runner is made from extremely soft materials. It's wonderful under your bare feet. The size and shape were exactly what was expected. All in all, great buy!

This rug has a nice design that adds a little color to the room. The size is good and I have no problems with the back staying put on my hard laminate floor. Even though it's 100% polyester, it feels very soft and it is very pleasant to walk on. It is pretty thin, so it's easy to lift up and fold over, and I guess that's part of what makes it washable. It came folded up and it was a bit hard to get the creases out, I had to steam it but I can still tell the creases there. Overall a decent quality rug, probably better suited in smaller sizes for supplementary decoration rather than the centerpiece of a room (it may look too cheap for that).

Looks great, and is nice and thick and durable. I am actually hanging it as soundproofing and it works extremely well. If it was a cheapo rug it wouldn't have been able to serve this purpose. I couldn't be happier. Great rug!

The colors on the rug look just like the picture. The rug itself is so soft and comfortable to walk on even without a pad underneath. It's the perfect size for my living room which is great because the hard wood floor gets cold fast. I would highly recommend this rug!
