Took a chance that this one would be better than my old chair, but wasn't counting on it. Well, I was wrong. It's really nice. It was pretty easy to put together, and it's quite comfortable. Plenty of seat padding. GREAT back support, which I really need. The fabric is soft to the touch. The arms fold up, so I can push the chair under the desk, which I couldn't do with my older chair. I'm a short, plump old lady, so not having those arms extend all the way to the front of the seat keeps the sides of my thighs from hurting while sitting. This chair is just about perfect for me. I'm short, only 5 ft, so ergonomic chairs hit all the wrong spots and end up causing discomfort. This chair doesn't have the ergonomic design so it's great. Of course my feet dont reach the ground, but the height adjustment on this let's me get the right height for working at the desk all day. My husband is 5'10" and he says the chair is comfortable for him too. The seat back is a good height for both of us. The arms have space between them & the seat so no problem sitting with my legs crossed. The arms are cushioned & soft, but could have a little more padding. The arms can be up or down, but don't have height adjustments. That is my only complaint. The seat cushion & back are well padded without being so stuffed they are stiff. I have spent 10 hour days working in this chair and was comfortable the whole day. I have joint issues so I must have a chair that doesn't cause my joints to ache & this one is great! Assembly was fairly simple. The hardest part is getting the back lined up to bolt on. It wasn't difficult, just had to be patient and not force anything into place. The white gloves were a nice touch so the chrome legs didn't get dirty during assembly. The fabric is soft and not scratchy. It's easy to clean too. I just use the vacuum hose to clean it off and use a damp cloth when needed. I work from home & in the office. I bought this for working from home. After having it a few months I like it so much I'm buying one for the office too. One hundred percent worth the price. If it came in black, my husband would buy one too. ... show more

I absolutely love this chair. I searched for months trying to find one that checked all the boxes. I work for hours at a desk and had extreme shoulder pain so I needed it to be height adjustable and I needed to be able to lift the arms to avoid hiking my shoulder up on them as a rest. The back comes up just to just below my neck so lots of back support. It is soft and plush like a recliner vibe which I what I wanted AND it’s beautiful. Customer services was also great. We had an issue with shipping, the company ripped the box and it put a hole in the chair. We reached out to customer services and with no questions asked they sent us a whole new chair immediately. I was skeptical because of the lack of solid reviews but I’ve had it for almost a year now and I’m here to say it was worth it! ... show more

    • Fending for myself after spending money on an extended protection plan.

This is the review I left Allstate/Square Trade in regards to this purchase. The office chair completely failed and I filed a claim to them for the extended furniture protection plan I purchased. No help whatsoever referred me back to the manufacturer. Good luck trying to get a hold of them. Here’s what I wrote: I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration regarding the recent experience I had with your extended protection warranty service. As a first-time user of your warranty, I had hoped for a smoother and more satisfactory process, but unfortunately, that was not the case. Upon encountering an issue with my product, I diligently took the time to fill out the claim form, expecting a timely resolution to my problem. However, to my dismay, I was informed that the responsibility for resolving the issue fell on the manufacturer's shoulders. This news was disheartening, as it is often challenging to receive a prompt response from a manufacturer that produces subpar products. While I understand that Allstate facilitates the claims process, I must admit that I expected more comprehensive support after paying for an extended warranty and protection plan. It is disconcerting to feel as though I have been passed off and left to fend for myself, especially considering the financial investment I made in securing your services. I urge you to consider the frustration and inconvenience that customers like me experience when faced with such situations. As a company that provides extended protection warranties, it is crucial to ensure that customers are provided with adequate support throughout the claims process, even if it involves liaising with manufacturers on their behalf.
