I’m a barber who acquired a disability last year and I use this stool as an aid for work. I can’t stand for long periods of time so I kneel upright on this which keeps me at standing hight and allows me to do my job without compromising my body. It is very convenient to store and easy to put up and take down. There are notches to extend the stabilizing legs past ground level which allow it to stay balanced even though my mat that it sits on is raised higher than the chair base that the legs rest on. I can kneel on it for 4 hours straight with zero knee pain so it’s very comfortable. Most people don’t even notice I’m kneeling on something rather than standing, it’s very discreet and blends right in. I know my use is very niche and most people are buying this for gardening, but it’s very high quality and I would absolutely recommend.

I needed to buy this gardening bench because I had leg surgery and could not kneel on the ground. The bench is brilliant. You can reverse it to use as a seat, or use it as a low kneeling platform. The mechanism to retract the legs works well. It is firm and sturdy. I have never felt unstable when using it. When folded up, it doesn't take up much room. It's easy to carry and store. A well thought out design that works beautifully.

This is really good. I am 67 and over 200 lbs. I can pull weeds for maybe 15 minutes before my knees start to become something other than knees. The bench let's me potter around for hours. It is just rigid enough and just light enough and it's got the anti tip feature as well. The pad is also very comfortable. And when you're using it for kneeling the height of the grab points is just right to help you back up. Good tool pouch also. I haven't had any pointy tools go through it yet.

UPDATE. I really like this, but i think the pad cover is failing. There's a golf ball size bubble forming under it. HOW DO I ASK THE SELLER ABOUT THIS? Turning 60 snuck up on me, but my knees always remind me while doing yard work. I looked at others, but I didn't trust how the round metal looked on others, so this looked structurally more sturdy. I was right. this is a beast out in the yard. Seems that other brands send you a box of parts to put together, but this was already together. I opened it and started using it right away. It so far can take alot of pressure when standing up by grabbing the bars and each side and pushing yourself up. Very STURDY, not wobbly at all, even in the grass. I normally would trust flipping this over to use as a seat, for fear of falling backwards, BUT this comes with built-in kickstands. Retract them, and there's no tipping backwards. the knee pad is VERY thick and most importantly, comfortable. i don't think if it was less than 10" my knees would as be able to kneel for as long as i have so far. It comes with a tool holder, which is ok material but doesn't seem to stay on very well when moving it. Finally, the springs help lock the legs in place and then to be able to fold, but it seems mine no longer work. The legs fold in on their own when i pick it up, and it's been a knuckle buster several times. Other then the spring leg releases, so far this is a great buy. Watch for SALES on it!

Very easy to unfold for use and super easy to fold for storage. Sturdy and craftsmanship is excellent for more than just the gardening side of use. Nice to use while cleaning my car rims after washing, no bending over to scrub them in an awkward position. Padding is quite stiff to sit on in its upright position, but not a deal breaker for me. It is a little heavy, but it is built to last, definitely NOT flimsy!!! I thought the price was high until it was delivered and inspected- worth the little extra for much better quality. I would recommend this item.

I studied all of the available similar products and expected this product to be ok, just like most of the other ones would be. It looked like it had a comfortable pad for kneeling and sitting. It looked like the pad would not move around and the frame looked as stable as all of the others. I didn't think the little feet sticking out the back would make any difference. SURPRISE! THIS SEAT IS GREAT! BUY IT! I have used it for several jobs around my yard. Guess what? Almost nowhere is my yard perfectly level. Those little arms in the back of the legs make this seat super stable. I will be 80 next year and I try to be very careful about falling down. I was able to lean in any direction while trimming and digging without the fear of falling over. The very thick pad is comfortable for both sitting and kneeling. It is built very rugged and is very stable to hang on to, when you are getting up from the kneeling position. I don't review a lot of products, but I gave this seat 5 stars because it deserves it. I almost forgot. The seat comes fully assembled. Unfold the legs and you are ready to go. I highly recommend buying this product.

Save your knees! Buy this bench! It's a great little bench and when you flip it over, you can use it to kneel on. The legs become side rails that make it easier to get back up to standing after kneeling a long period of time. I use in the garden, while tiling the floor, installing plumbing under the sink and a lot of other times I can't remember off hand. When I need a break, I use the rails to stand, flip it over and sit for a bit. Super helpful for me as I get older (over 50) and still want to do the household chores and home improvements. Would also be good to take on a road or camping trip for an extra seat or a footstool while sitting around a campfire or picnic.

Works good but did have a bubble in the cushion that was as big as a baseball I don’t think it was there at first. Was able to squeeze it out but did shift the material over a bit and seems to be popping back up a little bit Not sure if it was from the Florida heat My grandma loves it Despite my grandma leaving it outside all the time there has been no rust (it’s been a few months) Very sturdy Portable Grandma loves using it for gardening Easy to set up
