I've never owned any other night vision device, but I think this one is pretty cool. It's fairly intuitive to use, though it did take me a bit to get used to. Resolution is good. I was actually really surprised how far away I could see in the dark, honestly! The zoom function works nicely. Display is nice and bright and easy to use. I wish the carry strap fit in the case, but whatever. Love that it comes with a memory card, so you're ready to go right out of the box. Seems like a great value for what you get!

My first handling of the device set a high expectation. It's attractive, hefty, and looks well made. The night view function is like every other surveillance camera, there's an infrared light source. You can see as far as the source casts the light. What makes it unique is that it's portable and doesn't require a smartphone to view. However, YOU aren't invisible when using this product. The screen is bright and lights up your face, and the infrared source appears as a big red dot as shown in the spooky image. The screen is also hard on night vision. One workaround is to close one eye when looking at the screen. Seems to me, the best use is for viewing wildlife. In our case, wildlife traffic is sporadic. If you have lots of night time wildlife, you may really enjoy this nice toy.

The seanme Night Vision Goggles come nicely packed in a hard case and comes with the goggles, shoulder strap, USB charging cable, microfiber cloth, 32GB micro SD card, and instruction manual. The goggles have 5 brightness modes with the first two being color and the following 3 full IR with varying degrees of brightness helping to make out more detail. The LED screen you look through is crystal clear and the images look great. One recommendation is not to walk while looking through the goggles as the magnification is roughly 65mm. When in IR you can make out an entire room pretty well. With the goggles, you can view, record video, and capture photos. The goggles are easy to set up and use after you get used to the button placement and which ones to press and when for what function. Overall, the seanme goggles are an excellent pair of Night Vision Goggles

This night vision goggles does a great job of letting you see details in the dark and at a distance. The image resolution is great and shades of what you are looking at (if using IR) is clear. The 8x digital zoom allows you to focus on items or events that are happening quite a few yards away. The housing is made of plastic but it feels solid; the buttons are responsive with a physical click; and the focus knob turns smoothly. The IR light is very effective at illuminating things in the dark even at the first level setting. The controls are intuitive for activating functions and cycling through the menu options. This device records videos and pictures to a small TF card (included). The battery life is great, and I love how it has the option of attaching this device to a tripod. Having a tactical light is a nice feature to have for emergencies—it is very bright. A few things to note: - There is a slight delay with the zoom function. You hold the button, but it takes a few seconds before it starts zooming. - Even at the lowest brightness setting, the viewfinder is still quite bright for dark nights, and it will illuminate your face as you look at it. - While these are described as night vision goggles, it is more like a night vision camcorder. If you stick the device right up to your face, your eyes cannot focus on the image on the view screen. - It has a manual focus. So if you see something at a distance, you have to zoom in, and then focus in/out using the focus ring. So this device is better suited for animals (or events) that are moving slowly. Overall, this is a great device that is effective and very fun to use. It comes with everything you need to get started in a convenient carrying case.

I didn’t really need these but just wanted to see what all the hype is about "night vision"so I ordered them and found it to be a great ways to see the animals that roam around here at night. Deer are often seen as you travel along the country and watching them through night vision aid is pretty cool. They are also good for watching that raccoon that is trying to get into the attic and taking steps to keep him out!. It is helpful to read the instructions because I often want to skip that and go right to using. There are many functions that you just don’t want to miss. The goggles can get a little heavy if you are viewing for any length of time but easily attach to a tripod or monopod that transfers the weight. You can also zoom in quickly to capture that view on the card for future viewing. These goggles are far from the professional night vision binoculars you may see on TV or in the movies but for the hobbyists they are an excellent ways to see what’s happening after dark.
