  • Five Stars...However...
Model: H13
First off - 2020 Jeep Renegade. This vehicle has some of the easiest access to the headlight bulbs of any make and model. Next, the lights did not throw a code. The Jeep recognized them perfectly. Next, HUGE quality improvement over the stock Sylvania halogens. Could not be happier with their performance. Now for the however. What should have been a @ 10 minute install process turned into @ 90 minutes of one frustration after another. Some come from the bulbs, some come from the Jeep and some came from me. I list the following in the hopes that it potentially helps someone else who also has one of those "life lesson" days. Getting to the bulbs was easy enough. What I did not realize for @ 8 minutes on the first was that when I removed the stock light its O Ring remained inside the housing so I could not get the new unit to go all the way in because its O ring was competing with the previous. Once I realized the problem, the new light fit perfectly. It did need a small adjustment to get the LEDs into the vertical position. For anyone attempting this, those screws are small so have the right tool and be careful and patient. Ok, now the light is seated correctly all that is left is to plug it in. Except it did not want to plug in. The pins on the light did not perfectly align with the receptors of the vehicle's housing and no amount of wiggling or swearing would get them to budge. I hesitantly used a flat blade screwdriver to gently coax the pins to straighten out a bit knowing full well I'd be hosed if I over did it. After a few adjustments, the pins went in and I was relieved. Tested the headlight switch and the LEDs worked perfectly. Stuffed the wiring into the housing, put the dust cover on and looked forward to doing the other (driver) side. That soon changed. Again, removing everything was a breeze. This bulb even retained its O ring. So a quick test showed that the bulbs needed to be adjusted two full clicks in either direction to make them vertically align. Small screw driver to the rescue. OK, so now the bulbs are in correctly. No surprise, the pins on this bulb did not want to play nice and just go in. Of course not. So I used the same technique with the flat blade screwdriver. It took a few tries and I thought I had it, but when I pulled out the partially seated pins, the plastic housing inside the vehicle's plug stayed attached to the inside of the bulb's wire connector housing. Now I needed a very small set of tweezers to extract it. I got it out and it did not want to go back into its proper housing (it can only go in one way) but I eventually got it snapped in. As I tried to once again join the two connections, the pins would not align, again. As I pondered my situation, I happened to look down into the headlight housing and see two wires gently swaying in the breeze. The sun was oh so slightly glinting off them in what I interpreted as a laughing wave. Two of the three wires had pulled free from the connection housing. Imagine what Ralphie said when his father knocked all those lug nuts into the snow! It wasn't fudge! So, which one goes in which slot? I do not know and there were no markings to give me a clue. I looked at how each wire had been bent and made my guess and stuffed them in. After a few more tries, I did get the pins to go in. I tested the lights and both were on. Hazah! I placed the wiring into the housing and replaced the dust cover. I checked the lights again and the passenger was lit, but not the driver side. Loose wire? Sure. I tap on the headlight face and the light comes on. Cool. I open and close the door, rock the Jeep and let the hood slam down hard. The light stayed lit. Double Hazah! This is now around 4 PM, but I decided to take it out for a test spin. Drove around a bit, came back, and the driver's side light was not working. Opening it all up, those two connectors were about 2/3 of the way off. I jammed them back in good and tight then got a piece of electrical tape and made sure they would not vibrate or get bounced loose again. So far, so good. And as I wrote about above, they provide fantastic light, are not blinding anyone, and do not trip any warning alarms on the dash. It just wasn't my day for things to go according to plan. But as the great Bugs Bunny once said: "It was a titanic struggle but in the end, clean livin prevailed!" ... show more

  • NEEDED TO MOVE THE CHUCK 180° BUT THEY ARE GREAT
Model: H13
I got mine in the box and after playing around with them I and looking up the issue I found you have to move the chuck or the thing that hold the light bulb in place has to be un screwed and moved 180° degrees to make the lights go in the right way up. Because the low and high beam were switched. The front 3 led need to be on top when inside the headlight housing with the back bottom 3 led. If you low and high beam seem switched or not working properly try this. ... show more

  • Even Crisp Light high and low beam.
Model: H13
Plug n play, true, I did make the adjustments as needed, low beam on top, high beam on bottom, LED’s face 9 & 3 o’clock, two small Philips screws, I marked head lights with white nail polish then made sure I got it close as I could up and down side to side with LED’s with out drilling any new holes, tightened then installed lamps and used wire ties, (I did wiggle wire lamp in place and locked in place. Took about 20-30 minutes. Don’t loose any screws, 😂 Lights light up the night, highly recommend. ... show more

  • Flickering Lights, Good Seller Response
Model: H13
Ordered these bulbs for my ‘08 Dodge Ram. They illuminate nicely but would flicker on and off randomly. Notified the seller, who in turn sent me a set of “decoders” to go in between the lights and the wiring harness connectors. I could not get the decoders to stay connected to the harness. Replaced the harness connectors (new pigtail spliced in) and lights work fine. Revising the review from one star to four due to the flickering. Good seller response as well. Seller gets 5 stars. ... show more

  • Bright
Model: H13
Bright lights make it easier to see. Had an issue with installation on my 2008 Ram Big Horn model as the grooves didn't exactly libe up to my lenses. I was able to just use a knife to cut the edges off (as they were all too wide) and make it work but it was an annoyance. Came with zip ties and double sided adhesive pads for the converter boxes that are built in the lines to easy mount. ... show more

  • 2018 Jeep Wrangler JLU
Model: H13
So far so good. Just install both bulbs today 5/1/23. No hyperflash problems or codes of any sort. Super easy install. Just a flat head for the plastic grommets to pop the grill off and a 10mm socket for the light to come off to get to the bulb. They are pretty bright so make sure one you get done you adjust them so you don't blind everyone going down thr road. It helps you to see but it also helps you for the guy coming at you to see as well. I'll update if anything changes. ... show more

  • Failed And Not Supported At First
Model: H13
I installed these and was pleased with the color, output and pattern. However, in a little over 2 months, the high-beam went out on one side, then a few days later, the low-beam. I had to put the original halogen bulbs back in. I reached out to the manufacturer and Amazon. Amazon told me that they can't do anything but said they would message the manufacturer too. I have not heard back from either. Update: The manufacturer reached out to me after this review and was going to make the bulb good. However, while dinking around with the bulbs to take the pictures they requested, the "failed" bulb flashed. I fiddled around with it some more and found that, if I firmly pressed the bulb into the socket, the low-beam would work. I pulled the bulb from the wiring socket and noticed that the pins were slightly deflected and so were going into the wrong holes in the wiring socket. Long story short, I carefully bent the pins to line up with the socket, plugged them back together and the bulb worked on low and high-beam. So, we are good now. ... show more
