    • Waiting for price to drop to get another one
Capacity: 24TB Style: Exos X24
I bought this 24TB drive in Nov 2025. When I put it in, I heard some clicking and could not format the drive. It was showing as only 21TB, which means one of the disks died before it got to me. I returned it and ordered another one. The new one was perfect and has run without a problem since. I plan to buy more (11 in total eventually), but the price has doubled since, so I'll wait for the price to come back down under $500. ... show more

    • 50% chance of a functioning HDD
Capacity: 24TB Style: Exos X24
Basically a 50/50 chance of a working drive. Ordered two Exos 24TB HDDs, one seems to be working so far and one was DOA out of the box. And no support from Amazon, have to deal with the third-party seller or Seagate.

    • Enterprise grade 20TB storage that's fast, reliable, quiet, and built to protect your data. ⭐
Capacity: 20TB Style: Exos X24
Review Image by Andreas
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A STELLA Review The Seagate Exos X24 20TB is an absolute beast of a hard drive. Fast, quiet, rock solid, and built for exactly what I needed: storing and protecting years of photos, videos, drone footage, and client projects. It has been performing flawlessly, and I couldn't be happier with it. My only complaint has nothing to do with the drive itself. I need to buy a second one to mirror it in my storage pool for the extra peace of mind that comes with true data redundancy. Unfortunately, these drives seem to double in price every time I look at them! 😄 Here's hoping prices come back down soon so I can add its twin. Until then, this drive has earned a well deserved STELLA rating from me. Highly recommended if you're looking for reliable, enterprise grade storage that you can trust with your valuable data. ... show more

Capacity: 24TB Style: Exos X24
Drive developed a fault after a year. Seagate and amazon both refused to replace drive even though drive was sold with a 5 year warranty.

    • Great for its size!
Capacity: 24TB Style: Exos X24
This is an excellent mass-storage device. FYI- It had to be hooked directly to the motherboard. My server bay maxes out at 16tb. But it works well and has given no hiccups or slowdowns on my server.

    • Dependable
Capacity: 24TB Style: Exos X24
I bought a total of 4 to date, and plan to buy another 2. I have a long history with Seagate drives and don't really trust any other brand. I have never had a Seagate drive fail on me, and THE ones that did over the decades were *all* from a particular other brand. That can't be a coincidence... Seagate drives are just more reliable. ... show more
