Really liked the inflation system, very effective and easy to use. Very comfortable. HOWEVER, went on a 7 day trip and it was great for the first 3 days. On day 4 it lost pressure and left me sleeping on the floor. Totally unacceptable. Major disaster.

I used it for the past 7 days in the wilderness of Norther Minnesota. Night time temps ran from 32-45 deg. We moved camp 3 times. It was comfortable with plenty of space as I do sleep mostly on my side. I never hit the ground once. I weigh 235 and 6’ tall. Overall it’s a great pad. The down side it’s noisy. Imagine crinkling a chip bag ever time you move anything. It’s extremely aggravating with the price and reviews to find it’s this loud. I tried it at home before we left and didn’t notice it as much, but once you get into the confines of a tent and a quite wilderness around you it’s there. This is a good product for people that sleep on their sides. Good cushion once inflated. Just know that in cold weather there is little insulation so depending on your sleeping bag you can feel the cold air between you and the ground.

This air cushion is thicker than most and is more comfortable for older bones. You do pay a weight penalty, though.
