I decided to purchase this as a Christmas gift to them both, along with a beginner’s trumpet book for them to share and learn together. They absolutely loved it. Bought one and it came without the mouth piece. Returned it, bought a second one and it does not make any sound. Air goes through it but no sound. Returning the second one and looking for a better, higher quality trumpet.

Great little trumpet! We did swap the mouth piece with a silver one for our kiddo. Light weight and easy to travel with. Has a nice little case. My husband is enjoying teaching our daughter to play trumpet with it. While I personally know nothing about trumpets, he does and says it has nice sound, and is good quality for being made of plastic. We are happy that our kiddo can use this as a beginning and if she really sticks with it we are happy to get her a better one later. For now, I would say this has been a great purchase for our money, and great for beginners!

Once I got the lip action down, this thing is loud! Could've used a basic beginner manual on how to play a trumpet, but until I buy a book or look at a tutorial online, I'll be exercising my lungs and making my neighbors run over to find out what's going on (dying Sea Lion??)! So far, so good! I love it! Matches the green Uke I can hardly play too! LOL!! Life is good! Marching Christmas Parade, here I come(?)

Yes, it's plastic, sounds plastic, not as perfect as an expensive brass trumpet, but it still sounds like a trumpet and plays as one. Loving this purchase for the very reasonable price, ease of care and cleaning, and price/performance ratio. $70 trumpet that plays and sounds fine? This is an absolute win. The plastic mouthpieces are reasonable but you should really just use your own metal mouthpieces from your trumpet.

al pisar 2 pistones al mismo tiempo, pierde la afinacion. ya he tenido trompetas plasticas antes pero esta es de lo peor. aunque sea para aprender esta trompeta hace mucha resistencia en notas como el D grave y A agudo y E grave ya que se necesita una combinacion de pistones para hacer dichas notas. recomendable ir por otra trompeta plastica y no este modelo que es basura absoluta.
