I don’t freestyle today like I did back in ‘91 when I was a kid. I bought them more to sport out my bike and I gotta say that they look great and hold weight quite well. I haven’t had them for to long or used them much but so far so good.

    • Great pegs. Sturdy. Nice size. Good knurling. Just make sure your axles are long enough for them.
These are great pegs -- well made, look great, good diameter and nice knurling so you don't slip off them easily, basically they're just as I expected ... with one exception and it's kinda not the fault of the pegs: my bike's axles aren't really long enough for them. This style of pegs get sandwiched between the axle nut and the fork or frame flange, but the base of the pegs is probably 8-9 mm thick (think of them like an 8-9 mm thick washer), which only leaves a few threads on the axles exposed for the axle nut to engage with, and that's not enough. In general, you want the axle to be AT LEAST flush with the end of the axle nut, if not extending beyond the axle nut by a couple threads. So, if your axles don't have many threads left beyond your axle nuts (before adding these pegs), you may need to do what I did ........ I wound up ordering longer axles for my bike's wheels, so I'll be able to use these. If the wheels came with longer axles in the first place, this wouldn't have been an issue, so, again, it's kinda not the pegs' fault. (Fwiw, I have used some other styles of pegs that actually mount differently: they serve as and replace the axle nut, so the thickness isn't as much of a problem with those ... as long as there's 3/4 of an inch or so of axle to screw them onto.) The only reason I took off a star was because there wasn't any info that told me how thick the pegs are or how they specifically get attached to the bike (since there are a few different types, as I described), thus I couldn't adequately prepare to attach them to my specific bike. ... show more
