- 1.The SCUMAXCON RCD360 PRO supports multiple languages including English,German,Spanish,and Russian. Its dimensions are 8.46 x 7.08 x 5.11 inches. The panel size is the same as RCD330/RCD510/RNS510/RNS315/RCD310 and RCD360 CarPlay models. Ensure the stereo fits your vehicle. It supports Bluetooth, rearview camera (RVC), SD card slot,USB,touchscreen and AM/FM radio, but lacks AUX input. Compatible with PQ35/46 platform vehicles, it's not suitable for MQB platform cars like the Je-tta A7/MK7, Go-lf 7 and Pas-sat B8.
- 3.The radio supports Dynaudio and Fender sound systems,but in order to use these features, the battery need to be disconnected and reconnected after the radio has been installed.This could be necessary to ensure that the radio is properly integrated with the car's audio system and to avoid any potential issues with the sound quality or compatibility.
- 6.There are three types of power interfaces: PQ Quadlock, ISO Plug, and MQB Quadlock (see image in the description). You can use either adapter A or B to connect your car. Purchased RCD360 Pro II to add android Auto connectivity to 2015 VW Passat. I did a lot of research before purchasing so installation went fairly straightforward; the only time consuming part was running a wire from a reverse light to RGB converter box. The cable harness included with the unit is plug-in, the included antenna adapter is not very good so I purchased a Dual Fakra Car Radio Antenna Adapter instead (ASIN B07QH762D4); YX2216 or similar RGB to AV camera adaptor is required for factory backup camera to work (ASIN B0C9D1VVCL), I tapped the power for it from a cigarette lighter wiring harness. Very pleased with the final result, steering wheel controls work, Bluetooth and wired Android Auto works as expected, sound is good and installed unit looks like it came from factory. Be aware that if you unplug airbag light connector on the dashboard trim the airbag warning light will come on and you will need a VAG-COM or go to dealer to reset it.

Head unit was (relatively) easy to install, provided you can pop a bezel off and tighten four screws; I had to wire my head unit to the fuse box to prevent battery drain, but they give you everything you need to do that, including the adapter to tap into, and I just ran it under my steering wheel dash into the back of the unit, took about 5 mins. However, carplay ALWAYS keeps pausing, up to several times a minute. Due to this I have chosen to return it and go with a genuine RCD330.

Now I will say 5 stars would’ve been given if the setup wasn’t confusing but that might just be because I was inexperienced. Other than that I really like this product good sound quality is good. I really love the customization you get especially if you have subs great being able to turn them down or up from the module. Apple CarPlay works great connectivity sometimes is a bit iffy when first installing might be confusing but overtime its easy to understand. I honestly prefer this car play over other vehicle models which you may pay extra for at the dealer. Nothing significant in changes though. Lots of apps and it almost works as a computer? I can go on Google when connected to wifi and even use Netflix which I know alot and probably most other radios can NOT do🤣 another downside I will mention is the volume knob recently has gotten really touchy after about 9 or so months, so trying to turn my volume up it actually goes down. The lights do actually work great I have mine on a set mode where it alternates every color have had no issues. Overall great product would buy again if I had another model of car it would fit in!

This might just be the easiest radio install ever. 2014 Jetta - pop off the radio trim piece, unscrew 4 torx head screws, pull out and unplug factory unit, plug new radio into vehicle harness, slide back into dash, tighten screws down, reinstall radio trim. Done. I took my time because I wanted to make sure I didn't mess things up and I was done in under 30 min. If I had to do over, now that I've done it once, I could easily do this in 15 min without rush. CarPlay, touch screen, tuner, BT, all function like they should.

I installed an Android OS head unit in my VW Tiguan a long time ago, and it was fine. I thought it was great to start, but it just kept getting slower and slower over time as it is basically a tablet mounted in your car. Fast forward around 5 years, and I decided that I needed to replace it as it was just frustrating. This unit works great with iPhone - the only phone I have used it with. All of the CarPlay apps seem to work wonderfully with it, and I love that I don't have to have a dash mount for my phone any longer. It only works through USB to my knowledge, so if you are looking for Bluetooth CarPlay, this may not be for you. One tip I have is to set your default unplugged operation to 'Media' so that you don't get blasted out of your car when you unplug your iPhone. There is a considerable gain difference in the radio versus the CarPlay apps, and if you don't want to have early-onset hearing loss, setting the unit to 'Media' can help. Option 2 is to turn off the radio every time you unplug the phone - this also works.

Where to start? I settled with the PROII version, or as the title says "PORII", and I have no regrets. The device is quite literally plug and play which is nice and looks fantastic once installed. I basically got the unit for Android Auto since I was downgrading from a 2021 Subaru to a 2013 VW. I will say, the Android auto experience so far is flawless. I dare to say it's even more responsive than the Android Auto in my 2021 Subaru. The unit looks and feels stock and even the menus reflect that. I have only had the unit for less than a month but I will happily update this review if anything major pops up. Just because it's a Chinese made unit does not mean it is trash. They put a lot of work and effort into this and I can respect that. Just because your unit is faulty does not mean all of them are. I would assume the seller would respect that in some way at least but I hopefully never will discover that. I would highly recommend this and already have to a friend with an older VW who is dying for Android auto.
