Description

This is a 2 gallon, battery-powered compressed-air style Tank sprayer that is designed to spray water soluble solutions, such as herbicides, pesticides, & other liquid chemicals typically used for weed prevention, Weed remediation, pest control, fertilizing, & watering. This sprayer uses an internal rechargeable lithium-ion battery to power an electric air compressor pump. The pump zero electric pump is designed to provide a more convenient & more consistent alternative to standard manual pumps. It operates by pressurizing the air above the fluid in the tank, which causes the fluid to be pushed through the hose, to the nozzle, & sprayed out.

  • A Pleasant Suprise
This very affordable sprayer is durable and performs much better than I expected. The battery and pump lasts longer than expected. I really like the adjustable tip sprayer with 3 adjustments. The sprayer tank and hose is durable and easy to clean. This product and performance Suprisingly exceeded my expectation given the affordability of the product. ... show more

  • Very Reliable and Well-built Sprayer
I have had pump sprayers for years. Generally, they have been good, or so I thought. This Scott's Zero Pump rechargeable sprayer has caused me to get rid of my pump sprayers. It charges quickly. It holds a charge for 8-10 applications, and it's very well made. The nozzle on the wand is very precise. There are three different settings. When I use the fan setting, it does fan out the liquid evenly and completely. No sputtering, coughing and leaking or more liquid coming out in one place than the other. Once filled with air, the battery pump stops and picks up again when it senses low air pressure. Unlike some spray pumps, the air pressure release valve is very easy to use. Cleanup is a breeze. This is a very good product. ... show more

  • I love this sprayer!
I bought this sprayer to spray weed killer at my home. I loved it so much, I bought another one for my business! Everything about it is great. The battery charged up quickly. Lasts longer than I need. Recharges quickly. So easy to use. I like that there’s an inline cleanable filter. The spray head sprays so nice. Just the right amount. It works so perfectly. I would definitely recommend it. ... show more

  • Upsides only. No downsides so far
I do quite a bit of urban farming. I purchased my first sprayer to apply neem oil to control pests in my vegetable garden. I've since purchased a second sprayer to use for fertilizing the same garden. (I wanted to keep neem oil mixed in the sprayer to quickly pull out when needed.) What I like: 1. The biggest benefit from this sprayer is that it is very easy to use. It eliminates the need to hand pump. 2. This is a portable sprayer. You don't need to attach it to a hose. 3. The battery keeps charge over several sprayings. I don't have to recharge it too often. 4. The battery is integrated into the top handle. You remove the top handle, take it inside, and plug it into the recharger. (You don't need to carry in the whole sprayer.) 5. The 2 gallon capacity is just about the right size. Any smaller, and I'd have to refill it too often. Any bigger, and it would be laboriously heavy and bulky. 6. Nice, strong spray. The motor turns on and off as necessary to keep the sprayer pressurized as needed. 7. The entire unit seems to be well made. ... show more

  • A little pricey but really performs
With arthritis I've come to hate manual 'squeeze' sprayers and the battery operated sprayers that can be purchased with some agrichemicals (e.g. RoundUp) are great but not so easy to clean and re-use. Moreover, there are only a few very popular products that use them. The manual pump sprayers are OK but a lot of stop and pump to get consistent spray. This sprayer is well built, easy to assemble and works like a champ. The internal pressure regulator turns the pump on as needed to keep a consistent pressure and spray from the nozzle. The battery capacity is capable of delivering multiple fills without recharging for those with large jobs like me. The built-in nozzle has three different spray patterns and the powered spray makes clean-up as easy as it is effective (which is the downside to re-using the 'RoundUp' battery powered sprayers. After using one for Liquid Fence I bought another for insecticides and then broke down and got a third for herbicides. I gave it four stars because it's a great little sprayer but it is a bit pricey. But five stars for performance and ease of assembly and use. ... show more

  • Better build quality than the Worx, but wish it had a removeable battery
I have both this Scotts powered pump and the Worx 20v powered pump. I much prefer the Scotts. It has better build quality throughout, especially the hose. The Worx hose is thinner and more prone to kinking. Build quality issues are also seen in areas such as the wand, pickup tube and pressure relief valve, which are all more robust on the Scotts. Performance has been excellent. As with any powered pump, you build pressure far more quickly if the tank is full, with it coming to pressure in just a minute or so. It takes much longer to come to full pressure if the tank is filled with a gallon or less. But, there's enough pressure so that you can begin spraying even if the pump is still operating. Even though this has a 7.2v pump, the speed to build pressure is pretty close to the 20v Worx pump. It is a little noisier than the Worx pump but the sound is not excessive. The area where the Worx pulls ahead is the battery. Having a removeable battery is a big plus since all batteries eventually lose their ability to take a charge. With the Scotts having an internal battery, once the battery goes you have to toss the whole thing out. The Scotts pump head fits on some other tanks. I use it on a Smith R300 3 gallon sprayer without issue. But, while the Worx pump head fits fine on the Scotts tank, the Scotts pump head will not fit on the Worx tank. The threading is fine, but the shape of the Scotts pump doesn't allow it to screw down fully before hitting the top lip of the filler rim on the Worx. In addition to not having a removeable battery, I wish this had more info as to charge level status. It has an indicator that tells you when you're at 25% of battery charge, but I'd like a more detailed level gauge as is found on the Worx (or other battery powered gear). I also am not thrilled with the rotating spray head. It works, but I prefer a more traditional spray head. The rotating head can be easily swapped out for a traditional head (I use the heads from the Smith sprayers since those have worked well for me for years). Despite the few cons, this is still an excellent powered sprayer that has solid build quality, good performance, and is a good value for the price. Five stars. ... show more
