It took me some time to figure out the placement of the lock on the door. I wanted to make sure I didn’t cut any unnecessary holes but after I did some simple calculations it went on with no hassle. I did have an issue where the cable would get hung on the garage lifting bracket and cause it to disengage but I fixed that with a cable guide. ... show more

It works as intended but it is very very easy to pick it compared to the one that one there right now. Sadly I lost the key to it so I had to replace it.

The garage door installer want $90.00 to sell me one that was larger. I opted for this one and no regrets.

This is an excellent, solid, heavy duty product. I highly recommend it. It is much more robust that the comparable item that I dad to replace that came with the garage door. Only criticism was that I needed washers (which I had to buy - small but important items)
