The kit comes with everything you need for a great installation. Including butt connectors, wire ties, an easy to wire harness, and wiring diagram for my car. An amazing deal for $30 - my stereo installation was a breeze and looks great.

2015 Volkswagen Passat The dash kit itself it good quality and match, but the harness is terrible. I have wires ( Especially the ground ) come undone often to where I had to glue it permanently. However, I would still recommend this as it's a reputable company. Good Luck!

So you can install with this, but…. The red switched wire on vw is always on. The canbus turns the radio off. The blue wire on the antenna needs to be spliced into the red wire. The radio will not turn off with the car and even better the blue wire will constantly power the antenna amplifier (the silver thing on the adapter). An alternative would be to run the antenna blue wire down to the cigarette lighter with the extra red wire shown in the picture, but the kit didn’t include that :(. You would still have to remember to turn off the radio and hope nothing is powered by the red wire. Not to mention the radio signal with the adapter sucks. The bracket adapter sucks and has big gaps and is such cheap plastic! The screws provided are to short and practically snap the side plates. Basically you need the vw interface box that will solve the red wire issue. ... show more
