This is my 3rd Scorpion helmet, and my second of this model. replacing one that was 4-5 years old. It fits my head perfectly with no pressure or hot spots. Easy on and off. Face shield exchange is the easiest that I've ever had. Excellent airflow through the top vents. Face shield coverage is excellent. Extended lower coverage. Rings and snaps are first rate. Drop down sun shade offers good coverage. I can ride without the face shield and still protect my vision.

Bought it because it matched my scooter and was vaguely Storm Trooperish. Turns out to be a great lid. The only one that I had that was more comfortable was an Aria that cost many hundreds more. It goes on and off without removing my glasses. The field of view is beyond compare as long as the shield is clean, and there is a lot of shield to keep clean. The vent system works well, the helmet is reasonably light, and the lining is comfortable. And it has a blast shield that can be lowered for Force training! For the price they want for these buy one. Probably be the best hundred fifty bucks you ever spent on a price of gear. *this is a real review. It was not written by a robot. Honest. And I am not sponsored or supported by them, despite hashtaging the F out of them on the Gram.

My first 3/4 helmet after many HJC fullface helmets. This helmet is lightweight, good quality. I like having the option of a shield or a visor. They are relatively easy to swap but the visor is more difficult to line up for install. Internal sunshield works fine. The mechanism to raise/lower it is positioned nicely and works well. I'm on a Goldwing with a big windshield so can't really determine how well the vents move air but they don't seem to do much. They are easy to operate though. Fit was good for me. Pads are good quality and comfortable. I removed the left side to install my speakers and headset. It hasn't fit back in as well as I would like. I think the spaces for the speakers are too shallow as my ears get sore with the speakers installed. May need to do a little digging with the dremel to deepen that. Overall, really good helmet, maybe not great. Very good for the price.

Very nice helmet at a good price! The helmet was packed in its original box in another larger box full of a type of shredded cardboard used for padding. Excellent packing. Helmet came in 2 days. Bought for wife for her birthday and she is pleased with her new helmet.

I have tried several 3/4 helmets, including HJC and Bell. This Scorpion helmet has the best fit, the most comfort, the shield has the best optical clarity, the drop down sunshade works great without distortions and the helmet does not induce buffeting. The similar HJC model almost rattles my brain with the buffeting while the scorpion is perfectly aerodynamic. Buy this helmet and you will be happy.

FIT: This helmet fits me ideally! Scorpion is the most comfortable intermediate oval helmet I've found. Most are too close to round and not oval enough. I can even put this helmet on w/out taking off my glasses. Love the fit and feel!! FEATURES: The drop-down sun visor is awesome. Kudos to Scorpion for making it adjustable too. The way the shield locks into the tab on the left is a smart idea too. The anti-fog coating on the inside of the shield is spectacular. The speaker cut-outs are nice for my Cardo too. NOISY: Unfortunately, this is the loudest helmet I've ever owned. 1) You absolutely cannot open the top vents. They holes are so small that they produce a very loud whistling noise even at 25-30 mph. This whistling is so loud that it's 100% intolerable, so the vents are useless. 2) That awesome little tab on the left that locks the shield in place catches tons of wind at speeds > 40 mph. After around 10 years in production, they still haven't fixed that. 3) When the sunvisor is deployed wind gets into that channel and it's quite annoying. On cloudy days or at night when the sunvisor is up, it's a lot quieter.

My last 2 helmets never did fit me exactly right. This one fits virtually perfect. I think that's because I have an intermediate oval head and my previous helmets didn't match my head's shape. Why virtually perfect? Well, this helmet is very comfortable and, for a 3/4 helmet, pretty quiet except as noted later in this review. I think that's largely owed to the spongy pad extending at the rear of the helmet to meet up with my neck. All the rest of the pads seem to fill all the other gaps very well. The only "complaint" I have for the fitment is the strap. It seems to fit closer to the neck making it difficult to cinch it on the double-d ring. I have to pull the strap forward when cinching it. When I release the strap it then pulls against my jaw/neckline. Not irritating at all, but uncomfortable at first. As for being quiet, it is. Except for the wind noise that flutters through the vents. Closing the vents eliminates the noise so I know it's coming through there. I have a large windshield that allows wind to be directed over the top of my helmet, yet I still have that noise. I didn't have that on my last two helmets (other brand). It's not a constant noise but a buffeting type of sound. All-in-all, I think it a great helmet but for those two issues.
