Received the helmet today. Needed something light that looks sporty, but doesn't make me look like a bobble head character. This exceeded my expectations. Very plush padding. You can remove the sun visor and the helmet comes with 3 plugs to replace the screws that hold the sun visor in place for a cleaner look than just taking off the visor and reinserting the screws. If you use the sizing chart, the helmet won't fit. As others have already stated, you need to order one size bigger for a perfect fit, and two sizes bigger if you intend to ride with any kind of glasses or shades on. This helmet at less than a $100 is a steal. After receiving mine and trying it on, I would pay $200 for this helmet if it were only being sold at that price. For reference, I own several motorcycle helmets from Shoei, Bell, KBC, HJC, to name a few. If you get the right size, I guarantee you will love this helmet. ... show more

INITIAL IMPRESSIONS: Out of the box, seems pretty decent. The build feels good for a sub-$100 helmet. Instructions are vague on all of the helmets functionality. The visor flips fairly easy, but the tab to lift is on the left (clutch side) which could be a problem if stopped. Chin bar removes and installs pretty easy and can be done with the helmet on. This helmet comes with a quick release which is nice. FIT IS SNUG AND RUNS SMALL. I usually wear a Large, but an XL fits just as snug as an L from AFX or Scorpion would. BE SURE TO MEASURE YOUR HEAD! It's easy to do and will save you future headaches if you have a larger head. The foam feels solid and the liner is the softest I have ever seen offered in a helmet. Time will tell as to how it works out in regards to airflow and moisture wicking. Overall, pre ride impressions are good, I will update with a post-ride review later. POST-RIDE: So, the helmet is ok. I ride a Yamaha XSV950 Bolt, so going fast isn't a problem. The wind noise above 40mph is pretty bad, especially if you look to the side. The helmet is extremely stable at speed even with the peak visor and it isn't heavy (however I would not want to have it on for long rides). The tab to lift the visor being on the left (clutch) side and not the right (brake) side is a major nuisance which won't be a problem for those who have automatic clutches. The lens is crystal clear and has excellent visibility, and is easy to wipe off with a glove. My biggest complaint has to be that there is ZERO room for a Sena SMH10 (or other bluetooth unit). Can't put the clamp mount on, and there is no room in the ears whatsoever for a speaker; there's barely enough room for your ears. And because of this, getting glasses on is a pain. OVERALL: It is a good budget helmet and will save you a few hundred bucks over buying a Scorpion or Shark. However if open roads and speed over 40 are your game you may want to look into a quality brain bucket. 7/10 ... show more

The helmet is so much lighter than I expected ! I love the plush interior the whole thing feels solid and well built . the visor goes up and down effortlessly I was a little sad I didn’t get the logo on the protective film (I thought that was a really nice touch for the unboxing ) I like the full face protection for motorized sports but being able to remove it while I’m just kickin’ and pushing’ makes it usable for skating without overheating . I ordered the xl and it fits very well around the my skull and dosn’t smush my ears. The face guard feels pretty solid like it would protect you from flying debris and would probably save your teeth if you took a direct face plant . The guard does sit a little too close to my nose. So im probably going to glue a piece of foam to it and hope for the best. My only concern is the face guard dosnt cover my chin or the bottom of my jaw. This leaves me feeling a bit vulnerable but this also allows air to freely in and out the bottom so the visor dosnt fog up and my face does stay noticeably cooler so it’s a worthy trade off for me. This thing looks sick and the removeable mouth protector is a nice feature. Apparently you can remove the visor as well to replace with a clear one, but I feel like I'm going to break something and there are no instructions for doing so (plus its another $15 for the clear visor). The only issue is that it fogs up easily so i might get some anti fog solution and hope it works. Overall great quality and fits nice. The helmet is nice, easy to work and adjust. Bought this for my son, the smallest size barley fits... which works for me because he is growing. I am buying a installable headset for it, so will update how that goes. Only thing I don't like is how it changes how it fits. When you take the face off it does not just go straight in... you gotta squeeze it and force it a bit. Not a problem, till you realize it changes how the helmet fits. Worst thing is, it doesn't cause it to before snug... it loosens it up, not a huge deal... but does effect small heads. The helmets do run small also, expected this to be about an inch too big for my son... its almost perfect fit. Helmet looks cool and I like the added vents. We will soon see how effective those vents are when clearing fog from the lense from breathing. Son says it feels good and doesn't hurt, other than the strap likes to slip and put pressure on his throat. Could be due to helmet being a bit too big? ... show more
