Bought it for my 9yr old Granddaughter and she loves it she stayed up all night teaching herself how to ride it she told me I'm the best grandma ever it makes me happy to see I make my grandbabies happy. So since she loves it I guess it was worth it.

I bought this for my 11 year old grandson. He is 5’3” tall and around 135lbs. The weight limit is 260lbs. The battery is not powerful enough to handle his weight. When contacting the seller it was explained to me that he will benefit by standing up on the hoverboard only. The weight distribution of the person’s body will change how the hoverboard runs. It’s really cool but frustrating for an 11 year old who expected to be able to ride it like a go kart for a while.     • May work for a little while but it WILL NOT LAST!
We bought this in May of 2019 for my sons birthday. He rode on it about 10 times before we moved across country that November. Since the move he has been on it maybe 15-20 times. Yesterday he got on it and after about 5 minutes of riding, it suddenly stopped and we cannot get it to work. It was on the charger the night before so it had a full charge. We put it back on the charger and its saying it has a full charge. When plugged in the lights and sounds will come on until you unplug it and then, nothing. I realize it’s been almost 2 years but shouldn’t it last longer than 2 years especially since he’s used it maybe 30 times??? He’s devastated and now he’s either out of luck or I have to buy another. I’m tired of companies knowingly making these cheap products. Do not buy these off of Amazon. Spend a little extra money and go to a reputable store. The companies that sell in here are from over seas and they do not care if they last or not. ... show more

Purchased for my son who wanted a go kart for Christmas. I have to say, this was the perfect gift. It's very easy for him to safely maneuver. He's 8, a little on the small side for an 8 year old, and it's perfect for him. His 11 year old brother really likes it too. A great gift for kids who have outgrown scooters and are interested in more age appropriate ride on toys. Definitely exceeded my expectations! It was a bit tricky to put together, the instructions are pretty brief, but it's doable.
