When we first stated getting these they were great and would last our one cat 4-5 weeks a box. Sometime during the pandemic this company decided they wanted to make more money by making their product worse so people have to buy them more frequently. Now we are lucky if one box lasts 2 weeks.     • Formula changed /no longer good
When I first began using these 4 years ago, it would last my one cat, 3 weeks. Which seemed like an okay price . But the company has become greedy and they changed the formula. I’m lucky if a pan lasts 5 days. I’ll use what I have but I will be going back to a normal box. Changing the pan once week at 22$ a pan. Get real. I have used this litter for about a year and love it. I have 2 cats and 1 box would last me about 2 weeks. Now I’m lucky if I get 7 days out of it. Also, by the 7th day, the litter starts to create a goop consistency and my cats track it around the house! So gross! Not sure if this is an off brand or what because I haven’t had issues until this last batch. $50 for it to last me 3 weeks is ridiculous! ... show more

    • No nasty litter box smell...
One of the first things I noticed with this is there's no nasty litter box smell when coming in from outside and it lasts way longer than typical clay based cat litter. One of these refills will last about a month, or about 100 cycles with one cat who's afraid to go outside and stays in the house 100% of the time. I truly love them especially the litter that comes with it... the cardboard tray will extra durable I have emptied mind and used several times due to the fact the my cats has completely different than system they use for urinating only ! This is reason these boxes can’t be use Repeately I empty them in trash bag , take damp paper towels and pet cleaning spray and clean them after , I dry it out completely with paper towels sprinkle baking soda plain or the ones with scent and also put int into the poop box part.... complaint the part were it poop gets pushed into is entirely to tiny doesn’t store hardly any , but the reusable is the same also... if you check for Their waste every other day you will not have any problems at all.... ... show more

    • Really Works !!!!
When my wife told me about this system I was automatically no no no but gave in. Now we have used this system and yes yes yes. Start up is a little expensive but well worth the investment. No smells way change. We have three cats and avg tray lasts about three weeks . Would highly recommend!!!

    • I love this crystal disposable litter box
I have 2 cats and have always had 2 litter boxes. I hated scooping and cleaning them out and having to sweep up litter around their boxes. One day I was in a pet store and saw this PetSafe Scoopfree automatic litter box. I talked to the salesperson about it because the unit itself was a bit pricey and he said he had one and I should try it and if I didn't like it I could bring it back. I was afraid the cats might be afraid of it but they both use it!! It's electric and a few minutes after the cats use it a device that acts like a rake slides it to the end of the box and a lid raises up and in goes the dirty litter. When it's full a green light flashes and you simply remove the part that's full and put the lid on it and off to the trash it goes. Once you have the unit you just have to purchase the crystal litter tray refills. ... show more

    • Not for everyday use
While these are nice because you don't have to scoop everyday, I would not recommend them as your go to litter. I suggest only using these if you are going to be away for a few days. The box barely lasts for 1 week. So if you want to drop $20 weekly on litter go ahead, otherwise I'd stick to the traditional litter where I can get a large back for the same price that lasts me 3 months.
