Installed this on a 2006 Honda CRV. It's been about a week now. No issues. Fit perfectly. Was easy to install. While there were noticeable marks on the alternator itself. It did not effect anything.

The media could not be loaded. Not only did I spend money to get this alternator installed, but it did not even last 500 miles before the bearing gave out and would not charge anymore. I just replaced my alternator for a trip from Southern California to Las Vegas rounding about 500 mile round trip. On the way back home the battery light turns on and there’s a terrible noise coming from the engine bay. I inspect it to find that the alternator was making the noise and was not charging. I had to limp the car home but luckily there was enough charge just for us to get home. The car completely died after and would not start so I had to buy a new alternator (OEM) and get it replaced. In the video you can see the bearing getting stuck and not wanting to turn smoothly vs what a regular one should look and move like. I don’t expect OEM quality from this product but I also don’t expect to only last 500 miles. Terrible product DO NOT BUY THIS ... show more
