These are a good size and hold in the ground well. I have used them to hold down the bottom of the fencing for my chicken run, fencing around my garden, and also a tarp in winter over our well. They do rust but I’ve been using them still. I ran out and needed more and got some from Home Depot that ended up being smaller and they don’t anchor into our soft sandy soil very well. In fact, my toddler went out later and took them out. I had some trouble pulling these Amazon ones out after gardening season so I am buying more of them since they are so much more reliable.

The outside doesn't seem to rust but what ever is inside does. I have one flipped upside down in cloner dome and noticed the end of the prongs are rusted Its probably not enough to hurt the plants but idk if rust will hurt a plant or not mine seem to be doing OK tho. All and all they do the job
