  • Great Quality Bike for the Price..
Size: 27.5-Inch Wheels Style: Aluminum Frame and Disc Brakes Color: Yellow
I think the bike is very good..I already added a a few aftermarket parts but that's my style and also the bike is very light weight and I'm a big guy roughly 6'2" and around 230 but in a good way lol but I can't wait to ride it and get out there. I put it together without any directions I mean but I've been doing that for a long time but the look is beautiful as you can see and no missing parts everything was in the box so but great bike I was expecting something totally different but I'm actually beyond surprised at the looks and just quality. That's all I got. ... show more

  • Good bike !!
Size: 29-Inch Wheels Style: Aluminum Frame and Disc Brakes Color: Black/Green
Great bike , rides smooth, I added a bigger spring loaded seat to it . Takes a bit of adjusting cables to get brakes and shifting to perfect . I've owned quite a few bikes in the past that were absolutely uncomfortable to ride and they always ended up as garage wall decor . I'm not seeing that with this one. It's pretty light I've only ridden it a few miles but I like it . As for the pedals falling off in the other reviews , the pedal arms are aluminum along with the pedal studs look to be also . I would not overtighten them. I can see it would be very easy to overtighten them and strip the threads right off . All in all I think it's pretty good quality besides the aluminum pedal thing . ... show more

  • 9/10 - Used Like New
Size: 24-Inch Wheels Style: Aluminum Frame Color: Red
NOTE: The bike I bought was used so my review may vary on certain things. The price for the used bike was only $160. During the height of the COVID-19, bikes were sold out EVERYWHERE! Bikes that were retailed at $250, were now going for $700! The high demand for any outdoor activities increased so high that the prices for those market became unaffordable to many. Seeing this bike at such a low price, and it was listed as “Used - Like New”, I immediately jumped on the opportunity. Straight out the box, it wasn’t much of a hassle to put together. Being that it was used, I had a damaged headset bearing and a missing quick release skewer. The parts weren’t expensive to replace and costed just under $30 to fix at a local bike shop, brining the price to own at $190 so far. Once the bike was assembled as intended, I was able to judge the bike for what it really worth. First thing you’ll notice is that the bike is pretty heavy. It’s not the biggest problem but you adjust to it pretty quickly. Once you start riding, you tend to feel that most gears feel the same, but still provide enough range to get around without a problem. The shifting in the front is a bit clunky, and you have to find the right sweet spot to stay on the gear correctly, but the back is pretty smooth and responsive. The braking is pretty standard, but does the job effectively. After riding around for more than 30 minutes, you most definitely start to feel how uncomfortable the seats are. If you plan on making any upgrades, THIS SHOULD BE THE FIRST!! Speaking about upgrading, I changed the twist to shift to trigger shifter with a brake combo. Twisting to shift makes shifting easy while having your hands still on the bar, but my hands would constantly rub causing minor burns which got uncomfortable on longer rides. Switching to trigger shifters also freed up some space on my handle bars which allowed my to switch to custom handle grips as well. The stock grips did a pretty job a it was, but aftermarket ones are as cheap as $5-$15 which can improve ride comfort on a budget. All in all, I spent close to $250 on a used bike, with upgraded trigger shifter and brake combo, upgraded handle bar grip, and a comfortable seat. Rides pretty smooth, and I enjoy it. Other than the seat, thinking of cons took a bit of time because they don’t affect you much. It’s something you can definitely live with, without having to get upgrades. Pros: Good for beginners Easy assembly Smooth rear shifts Braking works good Cons: Bike seat Heavy/Bulky Front shifts clunky Most of the gears feel the same Limited upgrades ... show more

  • Death Trap That Resulted in Serious Injury
Size: 24-Inch Wheels Style: Aluminum Frame and Disc Brakes Color: Coral
This bike almost killed me. The front wheel CAME OFF while I was going downhill on a trail. I went over the bars and landed upside down on my shoulder and head, sustaining cuts, bruises, a sprained neck and a grade II AC joint sprain (partially torn ligaments in my AC joint, resulting in shoulder separation). This is a bad injury, but I'm lucky it wasn't much worse. I was wearing a helmet, a backpack with a built in frame that took some of the impact, and I just missed the trees. The wheel coming off was not user error—I had just paid $150 to have it tuned up and checked over at our local bike shop. It was my first time out on this bike. Prior to the wheel coming off, we noticed that the handle bars were rotating and needed to be tightened twice. The gear shifting is also terrible. My husband purchased this bike for me after seeing it recommended by Consumer Reports. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra money to get a bike that won't fall apart while you are riding it, causing serious injury. ... show more

  • need to finish assembling AND check that prior assembly was done correctly
Size: 24-Inch Wheels Style: Aluminum Frame Color: Red
This is a great bike and we foresee many years of use. It's sturdy and the individual pieces seem of high quality. My son has had it a few months and it's been good so far. However, as other reviews mentioned, this bike arrives only partially-assembled. You need some bike know-how and special tools to finish putting the bike together. The back wheel is not on, you need to put that on and figure out the gear assembly. Gear assembly needs some finessing to synch and may need additional adjustment to prevent it from catching or slipping. The front wheel was backwards and needed to be removed and flipped in order for the brake tread to work properly and safely. Even if the front wheel hadn't been backwards, it would have still needed to be removed because the brake line was twisted through the frame and couldn't work. If you didn't flip the front wheel and correct the brake line, you would not be able to brake the bike. Basically, it's as if they showed the people handling the partial assembly a picture, but provided no instruction or training in how to put it together. The lack of instruction extends to the buyer as the ones in the box are very unclear. If you don't know how a bike is supposed to work or have the right tools, you will NOT be able to do this yourself. If you know bikes and have a socket wrench set, budget at least an hour to correct and complete the assembly; if you don't, budget at least $100 to have the local bike shop correct and complete the assembly. ... show more
