I have quite a few dresses by Scarlet Darkness, but this one is my absolute favorite! I am 5'2, 130 pounds and relatively small chested. A small fits me perfectly! This fabric has quite a bit of stretch to it making this dress super comfy! I purchased a scarlet darkness corset belt to go with it, and it looks phenomenal! No pockets like many other dresses by this company, but it's so cute I can look past that. Definitely a must have addition to any wardrobe!

Ruffles are very pretty. Lace detail is also very pretty. It is very elastic so weight loss or gain is no problem. It has pockets. My new favorite dress. I bought two. One in black and one black and white stripe. I added a bow to the front of each but they don't need anything, they are beautiful dresses.

I absolutely adore the style of this striped dress. Definite short figure friendly. However, not a fan of the fabric. It’s almost costume-y. While the overall craftsmanship is good, the fabric is thin and not very sharp. The underside is white, which shows especially at the sleeve hems where they frill out. The fit on me is also strange. I’m 5’7” with a long torso, and the Small hits just above my knees. That plus the high waistband makes it look like a tiny doll dress on me -and not in a good way. I’m also 115lbs, 34A, 27”Waist and 34”Hips. Other than the short height, the Small fit is fine. A corset will look awesome and cover up the weird elastic waist as well. I tried a petticoat underneath, but it puffed out a bit much for such a short skirt. I think this would look gorgeous on someone with curves. And definitely if you’re a bit shorter. If you’re tall AND curvy, consider sizing up. A stunning dress with some unfortunate downfalls, especially at the current price point of over 35$. If you love the style as I do, that you won’t be bothered by the semi-cheapo fabric, there is so much you can do with accessories, etc. to improve this dresses already beautiful design.

This dress is mostly great. The material is smooth and doesn't need an iron. It's skirt is full and thick with a liner. The ruffle at the bottom is cute. The lace around the collar isn't itchy. It even has pockets, though they are fairly small. You could tuck away a tissue or some chapstick but nothing heavy or important. It feels well-made and is comfortable. My problem with the dress, however, is that I requested it before there were any pictures of women wearing it. The dress by itself appears to have the elastic around the natural waist. The only way that happens is if you push it off the shoulders and down to a nearly indecent level. It is much less figure-flattering with the empire waist.

Would also be really cute as a pirate costume, or every day dress if you're into black & white stripes. It is comfortable with the sleeves on the should or off, and hits in the middle of my shins (I'm 5'0").
