The loft bed itself is very solid and looks great. I like the overall quality and the space underneath. My 8yo daughter absolutely LOVES it. It’s fairly sturdy. Assembly can take 5 to 6h and is definitely a 2 person job. If you’re assembling the stairs on the left side you have to crack your head a bit because instructions mainly focus on right side mounting, but other than that easy to follow. Takes a while to put together, but it is sturdy and attractive. The drawers aren't large so don't expect to store much in them, but having stairs makes it a bit easier to get in and out. Good quality bed. Only thing is there are some missing screws and incomplete instructions if you want the stairs on different side, because of that we have to tear it down and re assemble it again. Otherwise my daughter loves it.

    • CHEAP bolts!! Horrible instructions!! MISSING PARTS!!!NIGHTMARE TO ASSEMBLE

Bolts snapped off! Inside the frame!! Just couldn’t believe how badly the components of this bed were assembled. They mentioned Staircase is reversible but it is clearly NOT based on the instructions and parts. Holes in the wrong places and screws either weren’t long enough or too long. Missing wood pieces. These pieces were manufactured incorrectly. We hired a professional to assemble, his words were "very bad product to buy" After reporting to Amazon, seller called and blamed everything on wrong instructions included in the package... Gave us options to replace missing parts or disassemble and sent back in original packing...We spent money to assemble and expect us to again spent time and money in disassembling... A disaster of a buy and WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE BY SCANICA ... show more

A very sturdy bed and steps, lots of room underneath for my daughter's barbie house and toys. Drawers are great for toys, we painted ours. Then more storage under steps. We were remodeling my sons room and found this bed. The dimensions were exactly what we were looking for, but when it arrived, several parts were damaged. I contacted Scanica’s customer support, and they quickly responded by sending the replacements. The instructions could be clearer, but the assembly is pretty straight forward once you’ve identified all the parts.
