This is a well made, quality harness. I ordered the large size and after a couple months it had stretched just enough for it to not adjust short enough for me to use it. I'm 5'10" and it proved to be too large for my build. Would recommend getting the smaller size if you are shorter than 6 feet tall. Otherwise looks and works great.

I play a tenor and I'm not a spring chicken anymore, I figured I would benefit from a harness style strap, and I did. It's ok, it's nothing fancy, quality isn't great, but, it has held up so far, and nothing is loose or broken. One complaint is the cross strap square looking part, where the straps pass across each other, making an "X". This piece does allow the straps to slide, hasn't caused too much headache, but I'd prefer it to be stationary. While it has help up to use, and note that I tend to practice 3-4 hours a day, sometimes longer. The straps and leather like material, have maintained and show no signs of use so far, they are not high end materials, which I didn't expect t this price point. I didn't want to spend much on something I wasn't sure I'd like, so it's acceptable to me. With that said, I really dislike the adjustments on each side, at the buckle. And I also would prefer a different clasp as I seem to always fumble trying to get it hooked.I do not plan to purchase a better quality item because I'm looking for something better, I also don't care for putting this harness on. You unbuckle one side and swim into it, and it's difficult to grab the loose strap and buckle into place. Once in a while I get lucky and get right away, but not usually. So, I plan to design my own and since I work with leather, I'll build it myself, as I have yet to see anything else I'd like to try. So, overall, it works, and has held up, the adjustment could use improving and if only it was easier to put on, add in some quality materials and it would be good. But I would keep a inexpensive option available so it's easier on the wallet for testing purposes. Good luck! In case you're wondering, I am planning to build a vest style harness. Note: my clasp has not broke, like others have reported, it's just once the harness is secured, the clasp is at an awkward angle to apply it easily, at least it is for me.

I am now able to enjoy playing my sax again. Neck pain sidelined me for years, this strap eliminated the pressure on my neck. I've recommended it to friends who are also impressed. (Note: it's definitely designed for adults. It may not adjust down enough for kids and small women).

My grandson plays the tenor saxophone and using the neck strap was causing him discomfort so he was not enjoying playing as much as he wanted to. He loves the harness, it gives him more mobility and he can move, play and move with ease with the marching band!!!

It works very well, although the straps are uneven and I need to tighten each time I’m playing (which is about everyday currently) I may have done better with a petite size, although I have a larger bust, the sides continuously feel loose and make playing uncomfortable. I did read that it said women with busts would have more issues with fit—but I’ve had a decent time with this kind. It’s good if you’re looking for something short term to hold you over. But I’d look into different ones if you’re in a similar situation than myself.

My son wasn't the tallest at the time of purchase, but this held up very well for him! The bari sax was down just past his knees, but he never complained and the harness was so much better than the neck strap. He used it for marching and concert season for about 2 years. Lightweight, easy to put on, and it didn't show any signs of wear after how much he used it

Good quality and comfortable why I rated a 4. But for me the X pad in the back sits too high, even with adjusting it, and it tends to push shoulders and hunch wile playing. I'm 5'- 8" so maybe someone taller it would fit better.
