Pros and cons. My son is working hard in marching band with a tenor sax. After trying this neck strap, he liked the padding so well he asked for help to make this one work. First, we tweaked the padding by moving the center pad lower on the velcro strip. That was a good change. Then, the center buckle and side straps were slipping with the weight of the sax. I put a rubberband on each side strap to resist slipping. Might have to sew them in place. The center buckle slips a LOT, so I had to sew it in place. Next, the awesome little plastic sleeve on the clip wore through in 8 hours. We also wore through the spare one in the next play session. So today I wrapped the weight-bearing part of the clip with black duck tape. We'll see how long it lasts. Once everything is tweaked and perfect, I think this neck strap is a winner. ... show more

It's excellent for all different heights and the problem I was having before was not being able to adjust it easily and put it at the right height. Also, to boost it's extremely comfortable and I can relax more when playing. This is at a great price, quality design, the clip isn't plastic which is nice and gives me confidence it will last.
