Description
The Savannah Hollowing Carbide turning tool is the perfect tool for under- cutting hollow forms. Designed to allow any skill level of turners to achieve high quality results for hollowing work with virtually no fuss. The unique shape of the hollower neck is designed to give you better access to the most difficult hollow form shapes. The Handle measures approximately 19” in length from the butt to the stainless steel ferrule and is coated with a rubber grip at the base to reduce hand fatigue. The shank is flat on both sides offering you great stability while hollowing small or large forms. The shank measure approximately 8-3/4” from the top of the stainless steel ferrule to the center of the carbide cutter head. The round carbide cutter head can be rotated as needed for clean, sharp cutting edge. Once the carbide cutter is completely used up, simply replace the tip with a new one. Extra Tip Sold separately.
