  • Love these, but check parts carefully
I absolutely love these cabinets. I ordered 5 to fill an 11.5 foot wall. We screwed them to each other and to the wall for added support. We alternated doors, no doors, etc to give variety in the appearance. Yes, the backboard is cheap, but I knew that going in and it works fine for me; especially against a wall. There were definitely some pieces that were damaged. All damage was done to the same piece, which leads me to believe they need better packaging. I was able to hide that damaged side piece as I screwed them side by side. However, had I only ordered one, I would’ve been upset. Three of 5 had the same side dinged up. That’s my only reason for four stars. Assembly wasn’t terrible. The directions were clear. Getting the doors lined up was the hardest part, but that’s not too terrible if you have someone who has done it before handy, which we did. ... show more

  • Good quality and good value
Really liked how it turned out. Stronger than I thought it would be and good depth for storing large items inside. Fairly easy install, but i think they should improve one part. The short screw for the bottom foot bases are so short and you dont get much control down the long foot base hole. Hard to see and hard to screw in. Ended up making the hole too big and the screw got stripped. Did the toothpick trick to re-fill the hole and ended up using other screws. Other than that one step, came out really well. My rice cooker and keurig coffee machine fits on the top so it gives me more kitchen counter space. So perfect for what I was trying to acheive. ... show more

  • How to bring the doors together
At first I was skeptical about this cabinet but once put together its a nice piece of furniture. I use it for towels and bath rugs for my master bath. It's pre drilled holes are well aligned which makes assembly pretty easy. 2 people can do this in about 30 minutes. As for the doors not meeting that can be corrected in 5 seconds. The door hinges come with pre loaded screws. Once the doors are hung these screws adjust the gap bringing them together. ... show more

  • Mixed Feelings but for good reason
So my husband and I have mixed feelings about this cabinet. Pros: We love the functionality of it and the fact it has holes for plugs/cords. We love the sleek look. It's also a good size and very nice height. A little big in our corner, but looks great and serve it's purpose which was a mail station to sort, keep, shred, and throw away mail correspondence. It's great to hide our medium ugly plastic garbage can. Cons: And this is a very big con..... which is the exact reason for taking stars away and I debated about taking away more stars.... installation of the DOORS! Wow!!!!!, very difficult for my husband to get the alignment correct and he is not a novice builder. We have installed/put together many furniture before ( crib, book shelves, tables, elliptical machine etc). Everything else about building this cabinet was a breeze but those doors kept coming off the hinge every time he tired to get them better aligned. After several tries, we gave up and there is a small minor gap between the doors now, but it will have to do. Overall, okay quality, We love the style and color, but we hate the door installation. Good Luck!!!!!!!! ... show more

  • Decent cabinet
The media could not be loaded. Great cabinet that goes with the set. I bought the full Sauder set in this brown color for my bedroom. I LOVE it. I am using this cabinet for my linens. I am not a fan of pulling things out of a dresser. This is nice because I could vacuumed seal three queen comforter sets with shams and throw pillows and add some loose sheets or pillow cases every now and then. Everything fit great. I am very happy with the purchase. Height, weight, and other specifications were right; color was as expected. It arrived in excellent brand new condition. The only down side is the slight gap in the doors. I hired someone off the Handy app to build this, the shorter cabinet, and the wardrobe, and he got all items done in less than two hours. Only using his tool box. ... show more

  • Nice looking cabinet - but overpriced
I'll be honest - I needed this particular cabinet for the look and dimensions. It fit with the decor of my dining room, the outside dimensions would take up as little space as necessary and the inside dimensions were perfect for fitting two different wood assembled wine racks, for a massive yet compact wine storage area (because, apparently, actual wine fridges either exist as holding no more than 20 bottles or over 100, nothing at the 40-60 I needed, don't readily fit pinot noir sized bottles and are way, way overpriced, but I digress) . So, assembly is not as bad as some reviewers would say (but I'm a scientist, so my assembly skills might be a bit better than most). Warning - while the first couple of steps are easy with cam-locks, the bottom attachment uses wood screws and one should be careful in centering or it could be off. It is a pretty looking cabinet, and fairly sturdy. My biggest complaints would be the fact that the manufacturer finished as few surfaces as possible, so the back of the cabinet is all particle board edges and the backing is, literally, thick cardboard (I sealed it with an acrylic sealer before installing). I paid $300 for this because it was hard to find at the time and I could not find anything else with the dimensions I needed. It is NOT worth $300, I'd say $100 tops. And, ironically, right after it did ship, it appeared in Amazon for ~$100, so that was kinda insulting. I'd like to thank the seller, West Coast LLC, for actually keeping their word and selling me the cabinet - after two other sellers, at lower prices, promised to sell it to me after a month's wait, then cancelled the orders for lame excuses right as they were about to ship, which gave me a total wait time from finding the cabinet to getting it of 2.5 months. ... show more
