This cabinet is beautiful. There were a couple of minor chips in it (maybe from shipping) but nothing we can't disguise with a marker. This is the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5. It's pressboard but feels sturdy. What impressed me the most was the instructions. The best and most clear instructions I've seen for assembly. All the parts were there too. Directions are great! They actually make sense!!! You can tell they were written by an American with a sense of humor. Easy to assemble. Despite a tropical storm, cardboard being soaked the product arrived in perfect condition

    • Love this cabinet!
The only thing I added were rubber tips on the legs. I wish it had sturdier legs, but don’t plan to move it. It looks great where I have it. I added lights inside and it looks beautiful. Highly recommend. Very attractive looking.

    • Just DON’T! Very cheap materials that won’t hold up over time.
Unfortunately this product is made of really CHEAP materials. It looks nice when put together, and the shelves are roomy and deep, but I don’t see this lasting for very long as a storage cabinet in my kitchen. I have put many pieces of furniture together using similar locking-screw mechanisms…this piece was noticeably subpar! The screws, particle board and laminate are REALLY soft and cheap. The locking mechanisms don’t catch well and are poorly made. Some of these “put together your own furniture kits” you can actually cut time with using a power drill…DON’T with this one!!!! You will most definitely snap the screws, strip the particle board and ruin the laminate. The laminate damaged very easily despite assembling it on a blanket and cardboard. I was optimistic at first, but honestly after I put in the 1st screw I knew this was junk and a poorly made product. I should have just returned it and gotten something better, but it is soooooo heavy! Oh well, I’m stuck with it now! Don’t be me :) ... show more

The piece is particle board and is covered in a fake woodgrain. Its pretty flimsy.

This was my third attempt to purchase this product, and I paid over $100 more on Amazon than elsewhere. But, I got it in just a few days and found the product to be of good quality. It's not great, and you have to assemble lots and lots of pieces. Overall, though, we are pleased.
