I have been using this desk for a week now. The desk is able to hold 2 monitors a desk phone. The desk drawer is deep and able hold pens paper etc. Make sure you read the weight of how much you can add in the drawer. This is very important. The self I can put my Comcast modem and my work Aruba device in there and still have space. The desk is very solid and heavy. The instructions are is OK but can be confusing. There is a youtube video that show you step by step on how to assemble this desk. Just type in how to assemble saunder desk. This video on YouTube did help a lot. It took 4 and half hours to assemble desk but in the end it came out perfect. Happy with the end product. I had no issues with delivery all items was in box and no damage to box on delivery. It is heavy. Had to remove the piece from the box to my office. I am happy with my purchase. I would recommend the desk. I would also recommend to pay for the assemble if can afford it. Desk very tedious to put together.

I got one for my kid to set up a 17 inch laptop with an external 21 inch monitor. The children's table that I got from that big foreign showroom company was getting too small. There was no place to put a math book and scrap paper to do their homework. After I assembled the majority of the table minus the draw, I ordered another one for my other older kid. This other kid might install two external monitors and maybe later a gaming desktop. This is the first time I ordered furniture online. Usually we go to the big foreign showroom with the list, paper ruler and golfing pencil to browse around. You mark down what you like and where it is located downstairs. Then you go down stairs, get the cart, wander around in the big warehouse, find the aisle and section, pull the heavy boxes on to the cart, roll it to the cashier to pay and then out to your car to stuff in the trunk or tie on top. If it does not fit, then you roll everything back inside, get on another line, schedule it to be delivered to your house, wow the shipping price is high and you wonder if you have to tip the driver. Ordering online was way more simpler. They delivered it to your door and all you do is drag it inside your home or garage. Here are some quick thoughts: Pro: Easy to order online Ship to your home doorway Manual is very detailed but gave me a heart attack as I flipped through the pages. Lucky they have an online youtube video that I watch step by step to install Use manual as a reference when I got confused All the parts are pre-separated into small bubble sections. No need to spend 30 minutes to separate and count the pieces. Con: Limited colors with low price and there were only 3 colors to pick from. One color was double the price of the other. It weighs a ton and needs some muscle to open the box and move all the pieces to the bedrooms. Manual is insane. It has lots of pages and words that give me a headache. Wood smell last about a week Very dusty and need to wipe down after assembling Not happy with the screws that assemble the sides of each draw. The screw head should have a stop or buldge. If I was not careful, I will screw the screw all the way in beyond the flat surface. Need to get a plastic writing cover to protect the wood table top from scratches and damages On one table set, the foot of the leg just spun around. I installed the screw but it kept spinning around. On the second set, I installed two of the legs upside down. Not sure how I missed understand the second time around. Got two splitters during the install and had to remove with a tweezer. That never happen with the foreign showroom furniture I set up for past few decades Takes over 8 hours to fully build the table. I might have taken my time not to damage the wood or rush it through but both tables were built over 8 hours.

I love my new desk, it is very sturdy and beautiful. I only wish the keyboard drawer had a back on it, as I use a laptop and would like to use the drawer, as a drawer.

This desk is very sturdy. We hired it assembled, took 3 hours. My only caution would be the weight of the box. It is HEAVY! If you don’t have access to some people that can lift, it will be difficult to maneuver into your desired location.

First of all, I find the reviews of drawers not fitting properly very unusual. I am not a tool person and generally stuff I do not know, I don't mess with. But I am good at following simple directions. I don't remember if this had any tools with it, but I was able to put this together in under two hours. I found the drawer on the right side bottom of the desk to be the only difficult part to put together. But I just went back and read the directions and it went together just fine. Sadly I had recently moved and I was unable to take the desk with me. I will be ordering this again, it was a great desk. Uncomplicated to put together and designed really well. I had modified the large bottom right drawer and the legs on that side to create a; sort of concealed safe storage compartment for valuables. Great product. No complaints whatsoever.

Great desk but directions/video are lacking. Be prepared to spend 5 hours and 30 minutes putting it together.
