The media could not be loaded. I really love these shelves and I am surprised at some of the higher quality aspects of this versus a lot of other inexpensive bookshelves. Pros: - The color is very pretty, would fit well into modern and/or farmhouse aesthetics. And there are lots of other furniture with a similar color so you can definitely match this with other pieces easily. - The construction was simple but sturdy. The instructions recommend 2 people and 50 minutes. I did it by myself no problem. It did take me longer than 50 minutes by myself but I also was just casually putting it together while watching tv, so I'm sure if you needed to put it together quicker you could. - The back panels slide into notches in the back of the shelves. Many other bookshelves at this price point come with a flimsy back panel (sometimes with multiple panels taped together) that you nail around the edges to attach it, which is just super cheap and bows out if you push against it. There are 3 separate panels and each one slides into the shelves so they look good and stay in place, even though they are thinner panels. This was a really pleasant surprise. - The included screws are more of a bronze color than a silver/steel color, which means they blend in more if you do not want to use the included stickers to cover them. - The stickers to cover the screws have a similar wood grain pattern as the shelves to help them blend in. - Instructions were pretty straight forward, though I was focused on the side panels and missed where they showed to slide the back panels in and I did have to unscrew 3 sides to slide them in after the fact. So just pay attention to where it shows to put the back F panels in! - All the shelves seem sturdy once put together. I don't notice any wobbling or anything when pushing or pulling on the shelves. Cons: - You do need your own phillips screwdriver. But you do not need a power drill or any other tools. Everything else is provided. - The stickers that cover the screws are just a slightly different shade than the shelves, which to me make them stick out more than just the screws themselves. I likely will not use them. BUT they are only on the long sides, and by that I mean they are more noticeable when you are using the shelves horizontally (where it is shorter and longer) than vertically (where it is taller but narrower). If you were placing it vertically, you likely wouldn't notice either the screws or the stickers. And I definitely appreciate the effort they put in to try and match the color/pattern. I just wish it was a slightly more accurate color match. - It does not come with anything to anchor it to a wall. If you have small children and want to secure this against the wall, you will need to get something separate to attach it. The shelves are sturdy but also pretty lightweight- if a small child was climbing it, I could see it tipping over. - The little stickers that label which piece is which are kind of annoying to remove. They don't really come off easily and I had to scratch some of it off, but it did not mess up the shelves so not a huge deal. All in all, I would say my cons list is more of a "slight inconvenience" list, and I think this is a really great value for the price considering it is not real wood. I don't expect it to last a lifetime, but I think it will last longer than a lot of other similarly priced cheapy shelves I saw before going with these ones. This bookshelf has really helped organize my kids' rooms. I built it with my older child, which means it was easy to assemble. The precisely cut plywood fits perfectly, with no excess or excess. The plywood provided isn't very thick, but it's quite sturdy once assembled. I use it lying down for stability. I put books underneath and made a space to display things like blocks my kids made on top. I like the soft colors. They go well with children's rooms. This sits quite securely in the kids' room. Warning: check that all pieces are present and not damaged prior to assembly (see note later) but provided you have all pieces this is a super functional bookshelf! I love how one side has higher shelves that fit 3-ring binders. I chose to use this by my peninsula in the kitchen as a sort of mini desk shelf. Thus far it has held up very well to daily use putting binders, notebooks, and other various office type items on it. The white color has also held up well and not really scratched. It seems very stable and I haven’t had any issues with tipping or side to side stability despite decided not to affix it to the wall. It was easy to put together. I assembled the whole thing within about 30 min. It would have been even quicker, except that one of the screws provided was broken in half and two short. This unfortunately left me one screw short. I reconfigured the screws so that it would just be supporting one of the small shelves so that I could use the bookshelf, with the exception of that shelf, until I got a replacement screw. My experience in requesting that screw was not ideal. There was supposedly a chat feature with Furrino but I was never able to connect. I then contacted Amazon and my only options were to return the already assembled shelf (so dissemble and return) or take a small credit and go buy the screw myself). In the end it worked out and I bought a replacement screw at the hardware store but it was super inconvenient when I thought it should have been easy enough for Furrinno to send me the replacement screw. Despite this hassle, the bookcase is so functional and the perfect size for so many spaces that I ended up buying a second one for my living room to be set up near my couch and hold a light, game controllers, some books, and decorative pieces. The second bookcase came with all pieces in tact and was a breeze to assemble. Super pleased with these bookcases. ... show more

I was looking for a shelf to hold my students lunch boxes. I utilized it differently by laying it on its long end. I wanted it to go under their mailboxes so the shelf couldn't be too tall because they wouldn't be able to reach their mailboxes. This was perfect. It was easy to put together (I put it together by myself) , easy to keep clean, sturdy, and holds the weight of my mailboxes that are all wood. I don't have a picture of the entire thing, but the picture attached I cropped out my students so you could see the shelf in action. I love it! It makes my ocd very happy as well. Look how neat and organized it keeps their lunch boxes. The only negative is the stickers they use to mark each board didnt come off as easy as others i have had in the past.     • Very solid shelf with solid backer board

Very solid. Unlike many particle board shelves this cam with a wood pressboard backer, must give you cardboard backers which can make the shelf less sturdy. They also include a plastic nail starter tool that not only removes your fingers from risk getting hit but positions the backer nails in a good spot near the center of the particle board. I must say the stickers to cover the screw heads were a miss, both in color and the fact the screw holes were not countersank so they looked worse than the screws. I got the darker finish and the black screws really didn’t stand out and looked fine on their own. Very happy with the assembled shelf. ... show more
