Ok, it needs to be fully assembled. BUT, it’s not really that hard to do. Instructions are pictures only. It you have big hands and fingers (like me) prepare to do some swearing and dropping of the short screws. The included screwdriver was all that was needed to assemble. The screwdriver could use a little bit bigger grip. Took about 45 min to fully assemble and move it to where I wanted it. If you have a big table or work bench that helps as you can assemble about 80 % of it without having to get on your knees on the floor. The order arrived a week late. The box stated “made in China” and all returns must be sent in original package. Not encouraging. I had the cabinet and shelves put together inside an hour. I went slowly to make sure I didn’t mess it up. To be able to see some of the screw holes, I had to crawl inside the cabinet. In one area my hands and the screwdriver could barely fit. It made for a very slow process. Halfway through I got out a really good screwdriver because the one that came with it was getting chipped. The holes were pre drilled but needed a lot of torque to make them big enough. Everything went great until I went to put the doors on. “Instructions” didn’t make sense or explain how it is done. I went on line and got an idea and finally had success. All in all, the cabinet is what I need to neaten up my husband’s office. They also included spares of most screws and such. That is great because nothing is worse than having a missing or defective screw that keeps you from finishing the assembly. ... show more

These are pretty easy to set up, solid once they’re set up and look great. I’ve noticed the finish scratches easily but not a huge deal. Certainly better than spending 3x on a big name similar product. We ended up buying 4 of them and the packaging did great to protect them. Pro-tip, only hand tighten screws otherwise they’ll strip, and assemble is laying on its back and then stand it up. I’d buy these again or recommend to a friend. ... show more

I couldn't be happier with my experience. I am not a "handy" person, so I always worry about "assembly required." The cabinet arrived extremely well-packed and padded. I followed the instructions provided. All the parts were there. (That's not always the case). Each part was packaged in small see-through bags with a label on it. The written instructions showed you exactly when parts were needed at each phase of assembly. The assembly video on Amazon's website that showed how to assemble the cabinet was extremely helpful. I needed something with a lock to organize/store some of my child's games, activities,and educational items. This cabinet was perfect for that. Relatively easy to assemble with each piece labelled for identification. Unless you're really strong, I would suggest using a drill because I had trouble using a screwdriver;the holes seemed to be smaller than the screw, so I did not have the strength to screw some in all the way. I would also suggest being careful handling each piece, because I dented and scratched a few. Thankfully, they are in areas where no one can see. Once put together, it feels really sturdy and should last a number of years. The key did not fit into the lock, so I contacted the seller. I have to say it was so refreshing to engage with a business that was genuinely interested in rectifying a problem. The seller responded promptly in every correspondence, and consistently gave me updates. They sent me a new lock and a set of keys, and a video instruction on how to install them (very easy instructions). The only problem now is, after all of that, I misplaced the keys 😩. Did not even get one chance to use them. Hopefully, I will run up on them. ... show more

I bought one of these for the garage to store tools and other 'garage' stuff. Got here within a 4 or 5 days and we are not Prime members, it was shipped within 24 hours, very impressed. The box had a few bumps and bruises but the contents was just fine. Surprisingly I read and followed the instructions and there were some of the best I have seen, very easy to follow and understand. I had no problem putting it together and getting it set up. I was impressed, so impressed that the day it assembled it I bought another on for the garage and again it was shipped in less than 24 hours and came in a couple of days. There were no problems with it and we now have 2 in the garage and I am very happy with both! The only thing that I might suggest is to have the doors stay closed without having to lock them, but it is not a big issue. I would buy another if we need more garage storage. ... show more

For the price, quick shipping, etc., these are a great value. They’re sturdy and check all the boxes. The locks are a little sticky, meaning the key going into lock isn’t smooth. I am sure I could use some oil. But, instead, I wanted a combo lock option and simply bought a cable lock to wrap around the handles anyway. Anyway, that’s just a tip. All that said, I just bought more of these so I must like them! ... show more
