Firstly, I RARELY review products... because I'm lazy, what can I say. HOWEVER, this product could not go without one. Come along for the ride. Recently, I lost a lot of hair due to anxiety and grief. It was like adding insult to injury when finally I noticed how profound it really was. I used to have very full, healthy hair and though I have highlights, I take very good care of it - heat protectants, salon shampoo/conditioner... you get the gist. I had been using "It's a 10 Silk Express" thinking it had heat protectant properties like the regular "It's a 10" but nay nay!! For 2-3 months I had been using a curling iron with no protectant! However, since I don’t curl my hair often I’ve never seen this kind of breakage so what was going on?! I knew the leave in wasn’t doing me any favors so I looked to my curling iron. I raise the clamp on it and noticed that it had burned completely through it's tourmaline coating underneath - in other words, the temperature control was jacked and getting way too hot. (FU Hosan curling iron that I bought on Amazon). I never noticed because how often do you look underneath the clamp? My nearly all one length hair down to the the middle of my back now had several pieces 3-4" long and some areas even less. To top it off, my hair was now incredibly dry and damaged. To say I was devastated would be a MASSIVE understatement. In an attempt at damage control I set about trying to find something that would tame the frizz, make my hair soft, and would be healthy for my scalp. I will tell you I tried SEVERAL products and spent so much $$ in doing so only to have my fine hair feel weighed down or still a matted, dry mess. Joico Defy Damage Mask, Redken, Olaplex... none of them helped. Then I stumbled upon this product. Truth be told, I wasn't looking for it. I read a review online about a peppermint shampoo that was really good and would leave my hair feeling soft. (They say peppermint can help with trying to grow hair as it invigorates the scalp and increases blood flow to the follicles.) I was skeptical but was willing to give it a shot. THEN, I see this as a "products you might also need" and I was like, oh heck, why not. My shampoo and mask arrive and first thing, I'm in the shower trying them out. Shampoo? Awesome. Mask? UNFREAKINBELIEVABLE! I was finally able to comb through my hair without a million snags. OK... what?! I let my air dry and let me tell you what, my hair is soooo soft!! I no longer look like Medusa with all the various hair lengths and NO frizz! This stuff is magic! And when you compare it to all the other spendy crap I bought, this stuff easily blows them out of the water.... for so much less. Cherry on top? It's from a small business from TX! YeeHaw! I can't recommend it enough! Sauce Beauty, you're the bees knees! Don't go changin'!

This product seems to have helped a lot with reducing frizziness (though weather has also been less humid lately) and making my hair feel soft and moisturized without feeling greasy or heavy. I find that with most shampoos and conditioners I have to use a leave in product (or two) to get my hair soft and smooth, but using this makes it so that I don't absolutely have to if I happen not to every wash (though it's still better to). And if I find shampoo and conditioner that I don't have to do that with, sometimes they just weigh the hair down or feel like they're leaving too much stuff on my hair. This is one of the very few hair masks I've ever tried, but so far I like it as it doesn't do that. I have a lot of hair (thick) and so far feel this amount will last a decent amount of time if I rotate between this and another conditioner (without washing hair every day). I think this is an affordable option for improving the feel of your hair.

Well, I was disappointed when I unscrewed the lid and nothing was sealed. But, I STILL used it lol. I'm definitely glad I did. My dry ends where finally soft again! Used it after my shampoo. Put it on and used my brush to comb it through. Left on for about 4 min, magic!

i just recently bleached my hair a few weeks ago and have been looking for a product that could help the damage. i found this product and read that other people with processed hair have loved it so i decided to try myself. wow. i’ve never used a hair mask that made my hair look and feel so healthy. i kept mine in for 20-30 minutes and the way my hair shines and glistens afterwards never fails to shock me. it’s extremely soft and just looks so healthy. plus it smells amazing! i’ll definitely be buying from this brand again!

I have tried soooo many masks. I have very fine, thin hair and it can be difficult to find one that does not feel like it has left a film behind. Moisture is so important for my hair. It is very porous and it can be hard to find a product to lock it in and leave your hair feeling light but moisturized. This does it all. A previous reviewer mentioned…once you run it through your hair, you’ll know. It’s true! I am so glad I found this product. Listen to the reviews. I am soooo picky when it comes to hair products. TRUST ME…try it. You won’t regret it. To the manufacturer- PLEASE don’t change or discontinue this product. You got it right!
