I'm an adult and six feet tall but my arms are thin. I had previously used a guard that was stiff and 7.5 inches long. That required me to remove my smart watch and and it still bit into my wrist when I moved. If I slid it up to keep it from biting my wrist, it bit my arm at the elbow bend. So I bought this guard, knowing that it was shorter. It's stiffer than it needs to be, but it's short enough that I can keep my smart watch on and not get bit by the guard. The middle of my forearm, which is the only part ever in danger of getting bit by the bow string, is well-protected. If you've got beefy forearms, this wouldn't be a good guard for you. I do like the quick release buckles very much. Estimate and adjust the strap length one time, then you can quickly use the plastic quick release buckles when donning and doffing after that. ... show more

Would like to have had slightly longer for the adult women (5'7"), but this worked for even that height. Petite age 7 was also able to use easily. Less sweaty than the plastic ones and easily adjusted. Ordered the adult one to have another option for the family after the first use.

bought this to wear during archery competitions and the fit is really good and comfortable. Its easy on and easy off. You also don't have sweating when wearing this so its very breathable and stays in place pretty well. so far very durable and is holding up nicely.
