So I made a mistake purchasing this item, and I was thinking that I could use them in a clinic setting to give to people for their Covid vaccine record card. It did not work for this obviously as I apparently didn’t measure correctly however, I have used a few of them for my name badge and works well for that.     • These do not fit 2 1/4 x 3 1/2 inch name badges.

I use Avery name badge inserts which are 2 1/4 x 3 1/2 and have never had trouble with badge holders before. I should have read the description more closely. The description said: "Accommodates 3-3/8 by 2-3/8-inch insert, displayed horizontally," which might SEEM to be large enough (assuming a little wiggle room) but it isn't. However, I doubt that even badges the size indicated above (which I have never seen) would not fit comfortably. I had to trim all my badges to make the inserts go into the holders and even then, it was a struggle. In addition, the holders are very hard to open and I had a hard time getting each one to do so and the badges do not slide into the holder easily either. I will have to use these for the immediate future as we glued magnets to the back of each badge. However, I will never reorder these and each time the name tags have to be trimmed will reinforce my decision not to do so. ... show more

The durability and quality is fine, but the size was SLIGHTLY too small to fit the 2.25 x 3.5 in. name tags from the Avery name tag size 5390, so I had to trim off about 1 mm from the perforated name tags.
