It’s so lightweight and unobtrusive that it can easily be used in handheld gimbals and can handle up to two separate Blink 500 TX wireless transmitters (sold separately). The RXDi makes using multiple wireless microphones with Apple devices as easy as possible. It connects directly to the Lightning port, and no batteries or charging is required. Really liked this product and it work great without a case. Most cases it will not work with. I had to get a ultra thin case for it to connect. Was told to use a extension but then it makes it too long for a gimbal. Also was told only option was to file down case… looking for alternatives now

    • Huge Difference in Audio
I bought this to work with a wireless microphone for recording videos on my iphone. It works great and was easy to sync. The only issue was it did not fit through my phone case. So I had to remove the case to use the receiver. Still, was so happy with the improved audio that I'm glad I got it.

    • Great for Videos to post later not good for Facebook Live Streaming
We purchased this to be used at church to live stream our daily and Sunday Mass it worked perfect. We went ahead and purchased this Blink500 RXDi recevier for iphone, (we had the TypeC charging port receiver). RXDi Receiver is perfect for videos which later you might want to edit or replay, sound is still one of the best. However, when it comes to facebook live streaming it turns on for two seconds then shuts down. it doesn't stay on. I plug it in first made sure I tested before goin to faceebook app. facebook app goes on, receiver turns off. Not happy with this purchase at all. ... show more

I was using the other receiver (connected via 3.5mm cable) because I also use the Blink 500 with my DSLR camera. However, this RXDi makes it extremely convenient to use the Blink 500 with an iPhone. Rock solid!
