Awful awful fabric. I really should have read all the reviews before I purchased this, but that's on me. They say it's 100% cotton, and judging by the burn test in another review I saw, it likely is cotton. However, the feel of this fabric is so strangely synthetic--it feels like a cheap tablecloth. Also, the product image doesn't show that the paper wrap keeping it together has obviously blown-out looking pixelation on the text, as well as grammatical errors. It's cheap as cheap gets, and not in a good way. Spend your money elsewhere. ... show more

The fabric is definitely a tight weave but felt synthetic to me...shinier than I wanted. I did a burn test (pictured) and it did not melt, so it is natural fiber, just stiffer and shinier than you might expect.

This might be 100% cotton, but what I can say is that it does not feel like any other cottons I own. It is rigid and stiff and sounds and feels a bit like a plastic tablecloth. Even after washing and drying. I'm having to pivot and use something else for my quilt. I will use this in other projects but it did not come as I expected a "100% cotton" fabric to come. ... show more
