These are awesome. I cut them to fit on a new pair of loafers that have both no tread and were loud. These grippers have stayed on through various functions and running errands, including a little rain. They make my shoes function so much better by making them grip the floor surface and they made my shoes WAY more quiet. Like waaaay more quiet. I’m about to go on a 6 week trip to France where I’ll be walking most places and will not have a car. I’ll update the review if they fail but I think they will do great.

I bought these to soften up some leather-soled dress shoes that make that loud woodblock clapping sound wherever I go. They also attract little rocks and things and make scratching noises on certain surfaces. These sort of did the trick but don't cover enough of the shoe to totally mitigate the problem. They stick pretty well but I haven't gotten a chance to really put some miles on them to see how they hold up. I'll update this review if needed.

A lot of reviewers said the adhesion didn't last, but I wonder if they applied these to dirty or textured soles. My shoes were brand new, had 100% slick soles (what gives, Kate Spade???), and I cleaned them meticulously with rubbing alcohol prior to applying (like you do when installing a phone screen protector). I imagine the integrity of the seal would be jeopardized by dirt or hairs, and that textured soles would allow dirt and hairs to weasel under the adhesion, which may explain the issues some people have had. I danced all night long without issues. I mostly do little twisty and shuffle-y motions with my feet on the floor (I never said I was a GOOD dancer). I also walked through wet grass quite a bit. When doing the cha-cha slide hops I was worried the landing would sort of budge the pads, but again, no problems. That being said, I JUMPED in my heels with these on - I think that's a pretty good testament to how well they prevented slipping. 10/10 recommend.

Worked like a charm and saved me from having to buy another pair of $75 flip-flops. I have a pair of OOFOS I've had for a year and still look great. However the soles are worn flat. I live in south Florida and wear them everyday, year around. Now with the smooth worn bottoms, every time I step on a smooth wet surface It's like I'm on ice. Last week I slipped and fell into the pool, hitting my head on the way in. I bought these on Amazon for $8 and they arrived in one day (on a Sunday!). After cleaning the bottom of the OOFOS flip-flops with alcohol I cut them to fit in the proper places where the most ware was and when applied they stuck like they were nailed on. I was afraid the soft and flexible rubber of the OOFOS flip-flops would cause these pads to not stick well and peel off. No so! For the past few days I've walked on concrete, through wet grass and rubble. I've turned and spun and they are still sticking like they are part of the sole. Best of all, I can walk across smooth and wet marble tile and my feet stay in place. No more slipping unless I really try and get on a part of the sole that the pad is not covering. What a God send! Edit and update: A week later and many miles of walking and these pads are still sticking the my soft rubber sole flip-flops. I've walked over all kinds of stuff including dog poop. LOL! I'm not sure why a few of the other reviewers are seeing their pads slip off. Maybe they didn't clean the sole of their shoe properly or at all? You gotta clean the dirt and grime off. I used regular alcohol and did a complete cleaning a couple times with with a cloth. The I made sure the sole was completely dry before applying the pad.

I buy these Dr. Shoesert Non-Slip Shoe Pads for every pair of heels I own, and they are an absolute essential! These adhesive pads provide excellent grip, making it so much easier to walk on smooth or slippery surfaces without worrying about slipping. They’re easy to apply and stay firmly in place, even with frequent wear. I love the added comfort and stability they give, and they work perfectly on both new and older heels. If you love wearing heels but want a little extra security and protection, these non-slip pads are a must-have!

Was able to apply these to some shoes that had worn down the soles to become very smooth. Cut some pieces to fit and left others whole. Unfortunately they come off of shoes very easily and are almost completely off within the first day or two of wearing them (in a carpeted office environment). It’s actually the adhesive and the rubber piece that come apart, as the adhesive will apply to the shoe well. This leaves a sort of sticker on the bottom of your shoe with no rubber sole.
