This has been a fantastic purchase! In our open floor plan, it improves the functionality of the TV screen 100%, allowing the screen to be turned and adjusted to virtually every viewing area.. It is extremely easy to change the position of the screen, despite its large size. Because it tilts up and down, as well as extending forward out into the room and turning in each direction (not quite 45 degree angle to the wall, but close), it makes the TV screen very accessible, no matter where you are in the room. I would recommend hiring a professional to install it, however. (We did!) It is heavy and cumbersome, not a DYI job in my estimation unless you are very proficient, tall and strong. This is the only reason I did not give it 5 stars for "easy to install". I couldn't be happier with this purchase! ... show more

I had a house with weird stud spacing. 16" centers EXCEPT where the mount had to go. 24" there. So I improvised with a 36x15 inch piece of baltic birch to reinforce the basic mount. Everything is super solid with 6 extra blind nuts to add rigidity and strength to the whole contraption. The result is great with our 65" OLED TV that weighs in at about 58lbs. Very easy to mount TV once the rest of the assembly was done. Lots of room for routing cables which keeps everything super neat. ... show more

I used this to mount a 77" OLED tv, and I needed to be able to extend it out often at very serious angles for viewing from other parts of the room. I also needed a decent tilt that would not be difficult nor weak. This mount worked beautifully. This is a strong, flexible mount. It can be manipulated in many directions without putting stress on the TV. The cabling channels could not be used for all of my cables, that was a negative and I still need to revisit this for better cable management. Also the TV-side of the mount, while seemingly flexible for lots of mounting configurations, required me to invert both TV brackets to make it work. The holes on the TV are surprisingly close together for such a large TV. I would have appreciated a little more flexibility to distribute the TV load better despite the narrower hole positions. ... show more

The product box was placed in a larger Amazon box. The box arrived. On opening, I found the product package torn open. All the components and small parts were strewn everywhere except in the product package, which made it impossible to put together. I returned the product thinking if the vendor gave so little care and had so little pride in the consumer's first look, then what could I really expect from the product itself. Turns out, I was better off. Got a similar product from a competitor at a slightly lower price, with easy setup and a sturdy sleek design. Too bad for Sonos, as I'm ready to buy my next unit for my 2nd TV. First impressions count a lot. ... show more

    • Stylish and Sturdy
This mount was easy to install and easy to hang the TV on. It has great cable management and it looks good on the wall. It was very important to me to be able to fold the TV flat against the wall and to be able to hang it in the corner and pull out to a 45 degree angle for viewing. The long extension on this mount really helps with that. Sturdiness was also critical for me as I have a 65", 80-pound television. This mount does all that and looks great while doing it! ... show more

I could not believe how heavy this thing is. It weighs like a full kitchen cabinet. But if you decide the framing in your house can handle it, the mount is really something. You will be able to point your TV anywhere in the room.

    • Expensive. Get what you pay for.
I have a half-dozen Sanus tv mounts and this is the cream of the crop. Full range of motion on my 75" baby and a product I can trust to keep it secured to the wall for years to come. Only one complaint: the instructions for securing the bracket to the tv, and later how to route cables through the extension arms were lacking. I'm by no means a handiman but I figured it out. Eventually. Very costly. But I'd hate to cheap out on something so critical and see something happen to my new tv, or my kids as they walk past a fully extended television. ... show more
