We did need to use both the instruction book and the video on the website, but with that information installation was very easy. Sturdy product, well packaged, arrived on time.

This has been a fantastic purchase! In our open floor plan, it improves the functionality of the TV screen 100%, allowing the screen to be turned and adjusted to virtually every viewing area.. It is extremely easy to change the position of the screen, despite its large size. Because it tilts up and down, as well as extending forward out into the room and turning in each direction (not quite 45 degree angle to the wall, but close), it makes the TV screen very accessible, no matter where you are in the room. I would recommend hiring a professional to install it, however. (We did!) It is heavy and cumbersome, not a DYI job in my estimation unless you are very proficient, tall and strong. This is the only reason I did not give it 5 stars for "easy to install". I couldn't be happier with this purchase!

I bought this because it was going to be in an area where it would be seen. So, I wanted a clean mount with integrated cable management. The cable management is a huge let down. The channel on each side is very small. A single HDMI cable was a tight fit. Because I have multiple cables going to my TV I had to run 1 outside Velcroed to the mount, defeating the entire purpose. If your TV uses 6mm hardware, this mount does not come with the correct length bolts. It comes with only 2 6mm lengths. The shortest is too short to work with this mount on any TV. The longer length is too short for curved back TVs and too long for flat back (even with included spacers). I had to use hardware from another mount to get this installed. This is not acceptable on a mount that costs this much. If you need 8mm hardware you’ll not have this issue. In 8mm they include several different sizes (none of which match the incompatible 6mm hardware).

This is probably a Great Wall mount for larger TVs but I ordered it to mount a 48” OLED TV. I looked carefully at the Amazon site and Sanus web site and couldn’t find the weight of the mount anywhere (just load weight for TVs). It arrived in a box labeled HEAVY so I weighed it and came in at over 40lbs. My TV weighs less than 30lbs. I think it was overkill for my TV and didn’t want the extra load on the interior wall of my 1910 vintage home. I returned this, ordered another brand full motion mount that weighed 11 pounds but had a load limit of 132 lbs. Seemed like a much better choice. I suspect this would be a great option for larger or heavier TVs.

This mount was easy to install and easy to hang the TV on. It has great cable management and it looks good on the wall. It was very important to me to be able to fold the TV flat against the wall and to be able to hang it in the corner and pull out to a 45 degree angle for viewing. The long extension on this mount really helps with that. Sturdiness was also critical for me as I have a 65", 80-pound television. This mount does all that and looks great while doing it!
