The bulb gets very hot so it would help if they were longer and also if the clip had a hole so you can hang it off the wall, which would make it easier to give it some distance away from your plant leaves, but otherwise it is a great grow light but you will need a wall timer.

I like that the lights are bendy/moveable. It's pretty sturdy, so they stay in place. This is my first grow light, so I'm unsure if this is normal, but the bulbs/area near the bulb gets really hot. Burned one of my plants that I didn't realize was too close! It's now further up and away, but still is really hot and I would not feel comfortable leaving this on without being home. ... show more

These are perfect for my shelves that aren't tall enough for strip lights. Most clip lights would look awkward and be in the way here but this design is perfect. I just ordered another set for the lower shelves and will probably end up getting more for the edges. I love that they can be positioned in any way you like. I have compost worms in a Subpod They are in the house in a large container. I bought the Sansi gooseneck grow lights to grow herbs around the Subpod. It has 4 lights so it shines on all of the plants. warms the the worms at the same time. Works well for me. I can even direct the lights in a different direction if needed. ... show more

I have all of my plants in a display case and previously used the led lights from Amazon. They frequently had a hyper flash and weak mode happen. These lights are far superior and have a lifetime replacement on the bulbs. I prefer these also because of the flip switch power instead of the led click button. Now I can use them on a timer. I’m going to buy at least 2-3 more of these and probably a single (10 watt) for my plants at work. Can’t go wrong with a lifetime replacement on the high powered bulb! ... show more

The lights are great. I purchased the 2 and 3 bulb versions. Unfortunately one of the bulbs stopped working after a couple months. I contacted customer service for the “free lifetime replacement”. I sent them everything they asked for and then never heard back. Too bad because the lights are good and I am pretty sure this one was just defective but will be wary of purchasing again due to the poor customer service. ... show more

After reading about numerous other plant parents success with sansi grow lights, I decided to pull the trigger on one for my own plants and chose the double gooseneck clamp model as it was on sale and gave some mounting versatility. I made the mistake of using the lights on some monstera cuttings I’ve been propagating and didn’t notice much growth, but later found out that grow lights aren’t what you should be using for cuttings anyways. I started using the grow lights on developed plants in one of my terrariums and those plants are happy! Hard to beat the warranty that sansi offers on their lightbulbs as well.
