Been using these as front porch and side-of-garage lights security for nearly 4 years now. They come on at dusk and go off when it gets bright enough, so 4000+ hours per year. Seem to last about 1.5-2 years. Come in both warm white and bright white; have tried both, prefer bright white for our use. We have the bulbs in enclosed carriage-light fixtures, where I have to reach in to replace the bulb. The depression in the top of the bulb lets me grasp the bulb, since I can't reach around the sides of the bulb due to the narrowness of the fixture. I guess value for money is OK, but that wasn't my primary concern in this case. ... show more

I like bright light in my house like outdoors and several lamps and lights to prove it. I made my own lamp shades that are almost see through so you don't lose any of the brightness. These will light up your world! They will last a while even if you room then day and night. I advise investing in command plugs to trek Google or Alexa to turn them on it off. They do run up the bill when you have all your lights with these. But they are a blessing. Love them. Arrangements they are playing too. ... show more

I prefer these bulbs over others of similar lymens that I have tried. They are attractive bulbs that use a typical socket size for homes. They produce a great deal of light. I am using these in my garage. I also gave some for gifts and got great feedback. I would happily buy again.

The media could not be loaded. I like how the lighting strips are all aligned around the bulb itself as well as how bright they run. These are ideal for my garage opener, where my wife preferred incandescent over LED, due to brightness. She just feels safer driving in at night when there's more lighting. We still used standard LED's, but weren't happy. These seem to really brighten up the garage after installing them. I removed the shrouds to brighten things up even more -makes it difficult to look in the direction of the bulb, because it leaves a blotch in your vision. It's almost like staring into one of those tactical flashlights over 1000 lumens. The one thing I don't care too much for is the bald spot on top, which you will notice in my recording. Not a big-big issue considering the bulbs are sideways, but enough to bug me knowing there are dark spots with these bulbs. ... show more

I got the 24w 5000k daylight model. They are a thing to behold. When I come up the steps and see the light coming from down the hall, you'd swear the sun was out and beaming into the room your about to walk into. Even when dimmed (on a dimmer) they're bright. My wife always complained that it would be too dark in the house at night. I think I finally put that complaint to bed permanently. Definitely the coolest and most exciting lightbulb purchased I've made in my 40 years of existence. =D One point to consider: They're very large. By that I mean the diameter and length of the bulb itself. It screws into a normal light fixture base. But, you need a fixture that has a sufficiently large globe or cover to fit the bulb inside, or just do what I did, take it off and just let the light shine. Sure the fixture is prettier with the globe on, but I don't look at the fixtures, and the light is prettier. I only had to do this with one of the 4 lights that I installed these in, the others all had sufficient room to fit it so it's not so large a normal light CAN'T house the bulb, but it is larger than your average bulb. ... show more

These bulbs are amazing. I needed new bulbs for the sconces outside my front door after one of the old LED bulbs stopped working. These give off ALOT more light, and it shines much farther down the walkway than any other bulb we’ve had before. Definitely buying more for other areas outside my home.
