Great Replacement for My Corelle
Color: Green/Sand/White Size: 16-Piece Set
My Corelle dish set was chipping after 12 years and I wanted to try something different. I wanted a set that was pretty, had a specific shape, and could handle the microwave. I cook A LOT and was very picky with my choice. I have bought cheap stoneware before and they get lava hot in the microwave. These can handle reheating something without me needing oven mitts to take them out. Pretty much any stoneware retains heat, so I expected some, and these do very well. The colors are very pretty in person. I really love the flat shape with the small lip. It's perfect for things like a juicy steak. They do great in the dishwasher. Forks can leave scrape marks on the plates if you push too hard, but that doesn't bother me. They have survived being dropped by me a few times. I did accidentally clank two of them together on the edges and one cracked a little. I don't think that's an avoidable consequence of me being rough with them. The customer service was awesome. One of my plates had a blemish and they sent me a new one right away. Overall, I'm very happy with them and will probably buy more from Sango in the future. ... show more

I absolutely love these plates. I bought them for my new apartment to match my decor. They seem to be good quality, however they came stained and some have bubbled up. It was very disappointing some of my items have black markings and bubbles on them. My brand new dishes. The black marking will not come off. I have included a few pictures in my review. Also, the box was damaged on the outside, but thankfully everything outside was great. Overall, I would recommend, but expect to see some unfortunate imperfections. EDIT: First time using one of the bowls in the microwave, it already cracked. EDIT 2: The seller reached out to me to make things right. I received another set, however it still had imperfections such as markings, bubbled paint, etc. At this time, at least none of the new set has cracked. Overall, I am increasing my rating since the seller was very kind. I would still say to expect some imperfections ... show more

No chips. No cracks. Lovely dishes
Color: Glossy Blue Size: 16-Piece Set
I love these dishes I was hesitant about purchasing them because of so many reviews that mentioned chipping or cracking. I am not a careful dish handler. Still I have had no problems with either chips or cracks. They are a good size, plate and salad plate. One of the bowls is very small and I thought it would be useless, but I actually use them quite a bit and found a number of ways to make them useful. I’m very pleased ... show more
